Wild - Sens
Owen Nolan (sent to lessen cap for Minn)
This gives Ott a lot of cap room, a future #1 goalie if they dont get that from Leclaire, a future top pair d-man, a high pick in a very deep draft. They could even package this pick with their own to move up.
Minn gets a sniper and can focus on trading Gaboriks rights if he does not want to stay in Minn. They could always try to sign Gaborik too and have a hell of a top line.
ottawa's goaltending issues are assumed to have been solved. Murray trading for another goalie will simply look like a loss of confidence in leclaire, strange considering leclaire has yet to play a game for us.
Nolan is barely a short-term stand in for heatley, let alone a long-term solution.
The other two pieces could take years before they can contribute.
Basically, i feel other teams, and minnesota themselves, can put together better packages for Heatley.
I'm not sure that the Wilds are going to trade a guy like Harding.
Seriously. Explain how you came to this conclusion.
