Stoopid Goalie, Flex is for shooters...
Sorry to ask a really rookie question but can someone explain to me the flex scale for hockey sticks, as well as blade patterns I think was the term... and does any of that apply to goalies? Again, my apologies but when I played forward we still used wood so I don't understand the new terms...lol :help:

The Higher the flex number, the stiffer the stick. A low flex number will flex easily with little pressure. Heavy players generally use stiffer sticks, but it is of course entirely up to you and your style of play. Blade patterns is the curve of the blade. Many different things affect the blade pattern, length of the blade, square or rounded toe, lie, curve type ect.
