Best bet would be EDM if they fail on Biron

Tombernack 07-01-2009 01:33 PM

I hope he gets dealt. He is a major blemish on an excellent team.

I'm not sure who else is going to take Biron.

LA or Atlanta?

Edmonton!

That wouldn't make sense for either team.

Saren 07-01-2009 01:34 PM

Why would Edmonton give up assets for him? If they want to overpay for a goaltender, Khabs is still out there.

NO!

This is from GM Dean Lombardi and from Ron Hextall.

cjbhab 07-01-2009 01:35 PM

You have my word that Huet won't get dealt unless chicago throws in some sick prospects and picks with him.

Whoever signed Huet for what he got was drunk out of his mind at the time.. I said so at the time and I still say so now.

Lay off the meth Tallon.

Maybe, maybe not.

bakunin 07-01-2009 01:36 PM

I'm sure Biron has multiple long-term deals with 5 Mio per year on the table :sarcasm:

So long, Marty.

Who says Khabby would be willing to sign with the Oilers?

Khabibulin, probably.

cjbhab 07-01-2009 01:38 PM

I don't understand why Edmonton wouldn't just give Roloson a second year.. I don't think they are at all interested in Huet given his contract..

I could see them signing a guy like Biron..

I think they're going to sign Khabby. Tallon is on a roll if he gets rid of Crystal Ball Huet.

Vitto79 07-01-2009 01:40 PM

makes sense to deal Huet

sign Bulin for 1 yr and let Crawford try and steal the job

I heard a rumor this morning that a Khabi contract is in the works. It might be dependent on a Huet trade, kinda like the exact opposite of last year.

OMG I was too angry at Tallon for that signing of Hossa but if he gets rid of Huet omg ill be too happy. That would really help with the cap. I wouldnt mind throwing in a couple of picks if that helps.

habs4dacup 07-01-2009 01:43 PM

do they have the money fo khabibulin? they have hossa, campbell. Theyll have to resign toews and kane next year, that is alot of money and i dont think chicago can cover
