Mitch Gaulton

Some news from Mitch. My dad just got off the phone with him. He did killer at the camp. He scored 2 goals today, and his arm is back to 100%. He came in much stronger, posting 17 chinups as opposed to his original 0, 33 dips as opposed to his original 0, and his vertical jump went up 13 inches. NY coaching LOVED him and say that he's ahead of schedule. Thought you guys would like to know.

I'm a big fan of Gaulton's and think people tend to underrate him but he is just one of many solid prospects on our D corps. Glad to hear this, thanks for the update

Nice to hear, could be a stealer pick.

Sounds great. Hoping that Mitch will have a great year--expecting he'll be back in Erie though.

Congrats to my favorite sleeper.

As I have said before, 2008 may prove to be the team's best draft ever.

Nice. Still awhile away but good to see him making progress.

Thanks for the update dude, keep it coming if possible.

All he needs to do is put in the work. if he does that i think he has the natural talent to put it together. I am very impressed he has been working that hard and hope he will keep it up and have a good, healthy season in Erie this year and that we will be able to see him in Hartford next season.

Is Gaulton the one who was out of shape last year coming back from an injury or am i thinking of someone else?

Yeah the Rangers were beyond impressed with his conditioning and his strength. They were blown away. He is the sleeper pick of the draft. He was in the top 10 at the start of the year. He just slipped a lot because of injuries. He'll most likely be back in Erie. The Rangers asked who his trainer was, which is my dad, so I might be meeting some Rangers :handclap:
