Top-10 Prospects #10

Top Prospects: 10th Overall

Here's a recap of each thread

Top-10 Prospects #1

- Thomas Hickey won in a relative landslide, garnering 54.74% of the votes.

Top-10 Prospects #2

- Initially, Brayden Schenn looked like the clear-cut winner. However, Jonathan Bernier picked up the pace and became the eventual winner with 49.21% of the votes.

Top-10 Prospects #3

Newly drafted Brayden Schenn wins with 53.16 % of the vote, but Moller is close with roughly 40% of the vote, both of them combining for a little less than 93% of the vote.

Top Prospects #4

Oscar Moller won in a Detroit Red Wings-esque sweep, winning with 77.22% share of the vote

Top Prospects #5

Suprisingly, Vyacheslav Voinov won in a decisive victory, with 53.73% of the vote

Top Prospects #6/7
- and Prospect Face-off

Colten Teubert and Loktionov battled off to the death for the right to be called LA's 6th best prospect. However, Colten Teubert won by the narrowest of margins

Top Prospects #8/9

Teddy Purcell and Trevor Lewis waged an unrelenting war to earn their place as the eight best Kings' prospect. Going into a tie-braker, Lewis and Purcell tied, only for Lewis to pick up steam and break the tie. However, Purcell came back, and seized victory with the slim, slim margin of 1 vote, winning by a 50.68% margin

Jwm1986 08-05-2009 03:17 AM

purcell and lewis should just be tied for 8th

DapperDan 08-05-2009 03:24 AM

Jones. Drewiske is an NHLer now but Jones has more potential at his position.

Than what's the point of having a tie-breaker?

i agree he should is one of our best prospects he has the second most points in the WHL

DeeMeck 08-05-2009 11:42 AM

You know our prospect pool is outstanding when a guy like Zatkoff lands outside the top 10.

KopitarFAN 08-05-2009 12:08 PM

Jones

I think Jones may have more potential than Zatkoff but still put him ahead of Jones.

yep thanks, just saw that Do8's Main Page is a little cluttered to look at and didn't see that at first.

It looks like this one is wide open, though Drewiske has a clear cut advantage over everyone. I think that NHL readiness has to be the key word with this tertiary level of prospects.

palffytofrovlov 08-05-2009 04:53 PM

Vote: Clifford

Also, I find it funny that of the two recounts we have had, the players that initally won then lost in the recount.

So Martin Jones will win this tiebreaker?

If we do have a tie-breaker though, we will extend the prospects to top-12 at least (cause I hate ending on an odd number)

While I don't think he should, its the trendy thing to do.

KingsCast 08-06-2009 02:23 AM

I went with Zatkoff but Drewiske is a close second.

Sensation 08-06-2009 02:11 PM

This is coming from a Sens fan, but I was just wondering who the heck Brandon Kozun is? I was looking at the Team Canada Development Camp Roster and they had him playing on a line with Taylor Hall and Nazem Kadri. They stated that this could be Canada's top line for the World Juniors. I had never heard of Kozun before so naturally I googled him up. And I saw he was second in the WHL in scoring ahead of guys like Kane and Schenn, but somehow he was drafted in the sixth round? Can someone tell what the deal is with this guy?
