vaugh goalie pads
I understand how reebok pads work (pro>9k>8k>7k>6k etc) but how do vaugh goalie pads work?

There are so many vaugh pads-
VPG 7500
VPG 8800
VPG 7400
VPG 8600
VPG 7300
VPG 7200
VPG 8400
VPG 7100

How do you know which one is superior? Is it just that the highest number is best?

PS I know I'm an idiot : P

Well first there are two different lines Vaughn runs: Velocity and Epic. The 8000's are the Epic line and the 7000's are the Velocity line. The newest pads Vaughn has out are The Velocity 7500 and 7400 while the Epic has 8800 and 8600. Yes the higher the number the better quality pad. The other numbers such as 7300, 7200, 8400 and 7100 are simply older models of the Velocity and Epic pads.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, That pretty much sums it up.

The Velocity 7500 and Epic 8800 pads are the current Pro level pads that Vaughn offers. They will run on the expensive side of course.

The Velocity 7400, 7300, 7200, and 7100, are all Sr. level pads that will be at a disadvantage in quality from the above Pro level pads but they will be much cheaper. Same goes for the Epic 8600 and 8400.

This should help: http://www.goaliemonkey.com/vaughn-sr-goal-pads.html
