Rumor undoing another rumour :D.

Somewhat hilarious if you ask me.

ihaveyuidonttouchme 09-04-2009 11:11 AM

So is this true or still a rumor?:sarcasm:

DanyHeatleyfnAllstar 09-04-2009 11:13 AM

LOL

So someone was practicing posting webpages and accidentally posted a made up Phil Kessel article to their site?

During an internal training exercise, a draft of a Web page that was never meant to be posted on the site showed up on the site due to a server problem. We are investigating how that happened
hacked!

Hahaha -- the best make-up-rumor tactic yet.

First float a groundbreaking rumor, then right away send out a new rumor right away that the first rumor wasn't true. One of the rumors got to be true.

uhhh DUH

MotorMaster 09-04-2009 11:35 AM

Possibly leaked information that shouldn't have been leaked and then pulled it at the request of Boston or St.louis?

Rickety Cricket 09-04-2009 11:46 AM

I heard they had a deal in place but Dany Heatley invoked Kesell's non-exsistent NTC.

paine 09-04-2009 11:48 AM

I got a good kick out of that.

russmatuss 09-04-2009 11:50 AM

Pfft 'internal training exercise' my butt, either a hack or someone fart-arsing about.

skilks 09-04-2009 11:51 AM

Eklund reported this as false....which means his 3% success rate is now ruined cause he will make more terrible bad rumors to make up for this one being correct

Kessel isn't even old enough to have been conceived on the grassy knoll...

Maybe the journalist wanted to extend his labour day weekend for an extra day. So he posted that trade comment yesterday, then wrote up the retraction to be posted today and took off to the nearest liquor store with paycheque in hand, all set for a sweet four day bender.

Well lets say he was conceived on the grassy knoll, they could have taken the egg out and froze it until the mid-late 80's.

If the Bruins are in favor of dealing Kessel(which I'm pretty sure they aren't), I don't see why Lombardi isn't all over it at this point.

The Kings are in need of a solid goal-scorer and Boston could probably use some solid prospects to add to their pool. The Kings would have to move some guys around to accomodate another RW, but that's really not a bad problem to have.

As I've read on here, Boston would want defensive prospects? Well, the Kings have a plethora of them. I'm fairly cofident they could work out a deal.

I do understand there's been heated discussion between JJ and Kessel, perhaps something could be worked out.
