Goalie cut jersey vs. player

How are goalie cut jerseys different than player jerseys?
I assume that they're really wide and roomy without the arms being that much longer?
Is that what it is?
Thx.

goalie jerseys are typically wider and have shorter and wider arms.

This shop by me had a sale on all these blank NHL jerseys. Saw a Wild one so grabbed it. When i got home i actually looked at it. The arms where wide as hell!

Wore it once, felt like i was flying with all that jersey flapping in the breeze behind me. ;)

The jersey are made wide so a goalie can pull it on over all his extra padding, the sleeves are wide for padding and freedom of movement and the arm length is adjusted to the sleeves look normal when the jersy is worn over all the pads.
