Woot welcome! :handclap:

Looking forward to see our PP in a better light.

Myron Gaines* 10-06-2009 12:56 PM

Nice, **** the haters.

Vicious 10-06-2009 12:57 PM

I cringed the second I read this...

Well, since he's a a Hab, I have to hope against hope that he does well. Welcome.

Galchenyuk94 10-06-2009 12:58 PM

But he's horrible defensively :scared:

I'm all for it. But, what happens in four months? Waive the guy?

nas26 10-06-2009 12:58 PM

Necessary signing I guess.

OpAck 10-06-2009 12:58 PM

Helluvashot on this guy...and pretty good positioning in the opponent's zone.

Just don't expect him to play any defense.

VAN-HAB 10-06-2009 12:58 PM

I think I am going to puke.
So will a lot of people after a couple of games.

:rant::rant:

Markovskaya 10-06-2009 12:59 PM

:scared:

Can we send him down to Hamilton when O'byrne comes back ?

overlords 10-06-2009 12:59 PM

anyone hear any numbers yet?

JeromeHP 10-06-2009 12:59 PM

good pickup

heck i believe he's more a fit to play the pp with markov than spacek (sick one timer from the point like streit had in 07-08 with us )

Em Ancien 10-06-2009 12:59 PM

This better be a great deal.

And he better be start in the stands.

ROEN 10-06-2009 12:59 PM

he's not here to replace what we're missing with o'byrne sidelined, he's the complete opposite.

Taupy 10-06-2009 01:00 PM

I will give him a chance unlike some others. We now have a bunch of guys from the backend that can get a shot on net.

Weber can actually do something (positive) in the other 2 zones.

hototogisu 10-06-2009 01:02 PM

Bob...

I am disappoint.

Hermamoud 10-06-2009 01:03 PM

Why do people always harp on the negatives? The Canadiens picked up a decent D who can make a good first pass, work the powerplay and has a booming shot. Also, Gainey didn't even need to trade assets. Pair him up with a good defensive D and I think we could all be surprised.

FlyingKostitsyn 10-06-2009 01:03 PM

Lets give the guy a chance shall we?

Anyways welcome to the Habs Marc-André! Make Trois-Rivières proud!

overlords 10-06-2009 01:03 PM

bah, didn't read it through

number 11 10-06-2009 01:04 PM

good pickup for the pp, he's a 3rd pair defenseman though. good job bob!

You sure you've seen him play?

Because a lot of those first passes go the other way.

I'm aware he's not a defensive Dman, but don't you feel we picked him up because there was no other NHL rdy Dman available on the market to fill our holes ?

Anyway I just hope he plays for 650,000$
