Home opener can't wait!

Soundgarden 10-08-2009 08:52 AM

Well, atleast we're getting the injuries out of the way now. Go Preds.

Im there!

Leaving Charlotte, NC now en route to the rink...

If Ward is unable to go, I'd predict a lineup of:

Sullivan - Arnott - Hornqvist
Santorelli - Legwand - Erat
Smithson - Goc - Grant
Jones - Guite - Belak

Those were the lines at yesterday's practice with Ward in place of Grant. Jones has been very inconsistent this year and obviously hasn't been showing enough to the coaching staff to get third line time yet...

Plenty of people, myself included. My hatred for Bethesda is enormous, partly for what they've done to the Fallout IP.:rant:

Anyways back on topic:

Preds battle hard and come out with a 3-2 win, Weber with the game winner.

Eh, I like this style better than the old ones. I want Bethesda to do a Shadowrun game in this style.

And it looks like we are getting Anderson.

Personal opinion, won't argue with you about it.

 Bethesda would F up the Shadowrun IP just as much if not more than what they did to Fallout. IMO there hasn't been a solid Shadowrun game since the Sega or even NES version back in the day.

Then again Shadowrun is one of my favorite game systems to role play in, not much better (or nerdier) than rolling dice.

Hasn't he been having groin problems? :naughty:

I don't read it that way. It says he'll be available not that he'll start.

Tonight's a great opportunity for Hornqvist to step up and keep his good play going!

ffwrx 10-08-2009 11:07 AM

“It was more just making sure we didn’t do any further damage to the area; a precautionary measure,” Avalanche head coach Joe Sacco remarked about Anderson not practicing on Tuesday. “He seemed like he was fine today out there. He looked sharp. He’ll be ready to go tomorrow.”

I was just assuming from this.

You mean like turning an action RPG into... an action RPG?

If Anderson plays, we're probably going to get our butts handed to us.

RMcDonagh 10-08-2009 11:18 AM

Ya guys know if Rinne or Ellis are starting?

My beef has nothing to do with it being turned into a FPS.

Perhaps we could ring up Vokoun and ask him what Anderson's superstitions are.

Good because 3rd person sucks. Did it not follow canon?

Haha, this made me laugh

In past seasons, Preds general manager David Poile has made the decision that all players must wear their helmets during the pre-game skate.

But this season, Poile relented, leaving the decision about wearing helmets during the pregame skate up to the players.
...
Sounds like a good idea to me. If you’re fortunate enough to have a full head of hair, why not flaunt it every chance you get it?
