Greg Moore goes to finals Maine vs Denver.

I wish Greg Moore well. What you guys think he will be? From what ive seen today maybe a Kirk Maltby type.

Watching him play in the regionals, I see him as strong power forward, maybe in the 20-25 goal ragne. Skates well for a biggish guy (JMHO), and seemed to have good hockey sense.

Btw, he might excel in a system that moves the puck forward, and focuses on puck pursuit/down-low kind of game. Maine's system is more a puck-cycling, pick-you-chances kind of system (witness the low number of SOG in last night's game), and GM had a solid year 16 G, 8 A in 38 games in that system. I think he has a great upside, and could be mean-streaked PF we can use.

The areas where I've seen marked improvement in Moore from last season is his maturity and his willingness to do what it takes to make the plays happen (offensively or defensively). He's matured as a player and it has shown in the various facets of his game. Also, he plays on a line with freshman Michel Leveille. Leveille is a player who possesses outstanding passing ability. He and Moore work very well together and have played together for much of the season.
