I love your GDT and I hope it means good things for us.

Caniac4ever 10-21-2009 12:42 AM

Nice work DC! Let's hope it translates into good mojo on the ice!!

I like the looks of these lines much better than what we have been seeing. They can't do any worse than not score any goals like I so recently witnessed in person in Jersey. Obviously the Islanders would like to get into the win column, so I sure hope we don't take those kids lightly...

imayagainknowanson 10-21-2009 03:24 AM

I don't want to sound negative... but i think it's time for Islanders to win game.

Sad King Jimmy 10-21-2009 03:29 AM

Where da goal scorers at?

It's the players around him. Cole would average a point or two per game. :naughty:

JW's numbers are inflated, he's getting closer to rejoining the Canes.

Gotta Catch Em Staal 10-21-2009 10:50 AM

There is something incredibly important I forgot when making this thread. I will edit it shortly to fix that.

Also, Roloson starts for the Isles.

caniac247 10-21-2009 01:05 PM

Tonight is the night that we stop helping other teams break their losing streak and other players get out of their slumps or get their first goals.

Sorry Islanders, but you'll have to wait one more game to get that 1st win cause Canes are getting their first road win tonight. (fingers crossed)

If anything, it'll be neat seeing Tavares. Although, I'm hoping I'm not seeing too much of the kid.

Hoping you can be generous one more time. ;)

Tavares is one of the few bright spots on the team so far. He's off to a great start (pts in 5 of the 6 games), especially when you factor in the intense pressure of being the #1 pick and essentially becoming the face of the franchise before he even took to the ice. Even more amazing when you look at the rest of our DIII roster.

Here's to a good game tonight, fellas.

Yeah Tavares has really looked good so far. Well, judging from stats and highlights anyway. Hopefully he's invisible tonight, though.

I predict that Andrew Ladd, from the stands, drives the net and destroys Roloson's knee. Then we win on a Rod Brind'Amour play behind the net.

ncsu1 10-21-2009 04:31 PM

haha

Citizen Cane 10-21-2009 04:40 PM

Is this the first time we've seen Rollie since then? I'm guessing not, but not sure.

Good GDT. Light da lamp, boys!

Canadian91 10-21-2009 05:04 PM

Does anybody know where to watch the game online, besides GameCentre?

Awesome GDT BTW....

Whitney on MSG:

Reporter: You're playing in the NHL for your 1000th game. How does that strike you?

Ray: Shocking.

I love Ray. He seems like such a nice guy, great player too.

QuitStaaling 10-21-2009 05:54 PM

Everything I said before was wrong. We are about to kick the crap out of the fishsticks!

WAR CANES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:yo:

cptjeff 10-21-2009 06:13 PM

daikan 10-21-2009 06:22 PM
