I refuse to waste my money going to see this.

I will, however, watch online. On one hand, we break the streak. On the other hand, we lose to Toronto and it's probably hilarity of epic proportions.

UnPLEASED Anton 11-06-2009 07:27 AM

we have twice as many wins, shouldnt that mean we are twice as good?

DaveG 11-06-2009 07:51 AM

Well, clearly we're one better.

I'll take your ticket, dude. Maybe with me in the haus they'll win (though I'd need to carpool it to le jeu).

imayagainknowanson 11-06-2009 08:09 AM

Good chance for win.

It's time for Boychuk& Sutter show :handclap:.

hyena 11-06-2009 08:21 AM

I'll be there. Bring on the Vortex of Suck!

Anton Skinner 11-06-2009 08:26 AM

I'm real excited to see these 2 together tonight. Not really sure what to expect tonight, but, well....either way....

AntonFromAppState 11-06-2009 08:40 AM

Number 11 joining us for loss 11?

ANTON HIS HOLINESS 11-06-2009 09:13 AM

In this battle, there are no winners

C77 11-06-2009 09:45 AM

I don't understand why Carolina is taking so many penalties this year???

Averaging 21 PIM a game is astounding.

I hope they don't take so many tonight because Toronto's PP is the only good thing the team has.

Hopefully Samsonov scores tonight :) used to be my favorite Bruin

A LOT of fights this year, more then I can say I saw in any Canes season since their first one here when we had The Grim Reaper and Enrico Ciccone on the roster.

wendelclark17 11-06-2009 09:54 AM

Can't wait to watch kessel again tonight. He's just a dynamic player when on the ice.

Gotta Catch Em Staal 11-06-2009 10:11 AM

I will be there, and will be excited as I always am even knowing what is inevitably going to happen. Will enjoy seeing Boychuk, at the least.

Excellent GDT.

Looks like Ruutu and Whitney skated this morning and both are game time decisions, so they could end up playing. Quite frankly I hope at least one of them doesn't so Boychuk gets to play.

Jordan 11-06-2009 10:35 AM

Leafs lines:

Blake - Mitchell - Kessel
Ponikarovsky - Grabovski - Kulemin
Hagman - Stajan - Stempniak
Wallin - Primeau - Orr

Kaberle - Komisarek
Beauchemin - White
Schenn - Finger

Gustavsson (not confirmed, but likely)
Toskala

Out:

Rosehill (healthy)
Mayers (healthy)
Exelby (healthy)
Van Ryn (out for season)

DaveG 11-06-2009 10:48 AM

Damn, Van Ryn just can't buy a break. I didn't realize he was done for the year.

Undergoing (may have already had it done, not sure) knee realignment, the surgery that Steve Yzerman had done near the end of his career.

QuitStaaling 11-06-2009 11:06 AM

This is all win. Samsonov hattrick, Walker empty netter.

Caniac4ever 11-06-2009 11:23 AM

I don't see any way we are gonna be willing to part with our last in the league status. I can't help but imagine that our dear vets will play as poorly as they can. If they don't, how would we counter the infusion of energy from Brandon and Zach? (besides giving them each 6-8 minutes of ice time)

Hurricanes-1
Leafs-5

DoomMF 11-06-2009 11:27 AM

Kaberle has as many assists as we have goals this year (if you take away our 7 goal outburst). Not exactly, but close enough to make it sad considering they're the one team that looks worse than us right now.

The Leafs have been vastly improved since Gustavsson came back from injury.

(They've earned at least a point in every game since then)

Paris in Flames 11-06-2009 11:33 AM

In the Leaf defense, I wouldn't say we look worse. Even, maybe. You've lost 10 in a row. We've gained points in 5 straight. Edge may even go to Toronto.

Gotta Catch Em Staal 11-06-2009 11:41 AM

I'm pretty sure the Leafs scored more powerplay goals in that game against the Ducks last week than we have all season. Or at least close to it.

dmonk 11-06-2009 11:51 AM

I fully expect to hear "Mo must go" chants at the arena tonight.

...and lots of "Booos" when they'll announce his name at the start of the game.
