Will likely suck for 3 - 4 more weeks.

FutureGM97 11-29-2009 10:38 AM

got to get a string of wins going here...playin some tough teams over the next couple of weeks

AnalogMan 11-29-2009 10:53 AM

If no Mueller and no Fiddler, we have 12 forwards on the trip. How do we line up?

Doan - Hanzal - Vrbata
Upshall - Lombardi - Korpikoski
Prucha - Lang - Boedker
Bissonnette - Winnik - Pyatt

:dunno:

Doesn't look like it will be on Center Ice or atdhe.net, so maybe there is no tv coverage from either side. :(

The Ducks are not televising this game at all so no game on Center Ice.

Colt45Blast 11-29-2009 02:22 PM

Maybe its best we don't see the game on tv. If you ever been to the Honda Center it looks nice on the outside but ghetto inside the arena even with all of the improvements, just like the US Airways Center!

The NHL shouldn't let this happen. There should always be at least one team broadcasting the game on tv.

With no tv timeouts, though, the most athletic team could have an advantage. Maybe another big night for the Upshall Lombardi Korpikoski line.

Holy crap you are right, nothing from the LA area...all taken up with basketball and I was so looking forward to Brian Heyward - the KING of homers.....

Do they really not have TV timeouts when there isn't a TV broadcast? Obviously the name would imply that, but at the same time, that would be a pretty drastic change to the flow of the game. I had never considered this.

rt 11-29-2009 05:36 PM

The radio is also Dependant on commercial sponsorship. There would still be radio timeouts.

I'm not sure how it all works, but rt makes a good point. We'll have to see if there is a difference at all during the radio broadcast tonight.

TeamTippett 11-29-2009 06:02 PM

nhl.com is advertising the game, but I already subscribe to CI why should I have to pluck down more money to watch online?

There is always "tv time outs" even if it is not meant for "tv." This has to be done given time constrants, and the cleaning of the ice.

krepitch 11-29-2009 07:06 PM

Looks like XTRA's contract with the NFL gets precedence over the one with the Coyotes, so the game is not on 910.

I'm listening to the stream from the Coyotes site: http://coyotes.nhl.com/index.html

Sheesh! Sorry! Go Yotes!

DouX 11-29-2009 07:36 PM

Well it sounds like we are putting a lot of pressure on Giguire. It'd be nice to get a few past him.

FutureGM97 11-29-2009 07:36 PM

God this sucks...so im guessing there are going to be no video highlights as a result of the lack of TV coverage?

I wonder how they review plays if there is no tv coverage.

DouX 11-29-2009 07:41 PM

Tyson Nash sucks. He is so awkward and his use of words is pretty bad.
