Four in a row. Let's get this one!! Ottawa 25th in goals against average. Put the puck on the net....boys.

Im getting really tired of all these games not being televised! This is horrible marketing and they need to be televised if were gonna save this team. What a joke!

keep on rolling...Rangers need some help out East and Yotes gotta keep climbing up the standings. Ottawa is a tough team but certainly beatable.

Art.Vandelay 12-05-2009 01:59 PM

I got this link from a friend who is a Ranger fan. Apparently when Prucha scored a goal in MSG, they played this video. In the beginning it sounds like they are chanting PRU-CHA!.

I wonder of the Coyotes would do something like that instead of the same standard videos they play when a goal is scored?

So what are the projected lines for the Coyotes?

My fault...I didn't know I needed to be more specific. They need to make sure the games are where people w/o center ice can watch them(i.e. FSN) This will be game number 3 or 4 in a row now

Considering we had no TV deal until September 50 TV games is better than the alternative.

Not much anyone can do about that. Only 50 or so games will be televised on FSN AZ. If you live in AZ, every bar has NHL Center Ice.

IMO, this is part of the fallout from the Bankruptcy court mess this past summer.

I'm glad--I got CI to watch Red Wings games (no--wait--put that tomato down--I wore a Coyotes sweater at the game when they played in October, honest)--but it's really come in handy considering how few Coyotes games are televised this year. I know the television deal didn't happen until Sept., but you know things are bad when you have to resort to CI something like 32 times to watch a team in your own market.

Interesting that they can hook up the in-house video feed and use the radio broadcast for play-by-play--on relatively short notice, no less. Makes you wonder why any game, in any market, would go totally un-televised. Considering how much CI costs, I should be able to watch whatever game I want, that's for damn sure.

CoyoteSunDevil 12-05-2009 03:19 PM

Im really hoping for a good turnout tonight. I have darn good seats and I got them just this week...we need some support and another win against Canada would do just right.

Come on Coyotes!

Colt45Blast 12-05-2009 03:27 PM

Looks like we won't need our goon tonight since Chris Neil is out.

One would think that with the NHL now owning the team that they would be able to negotiate something for the remaining untelevised games, unless they see this as means to get more fans in the stands.
Televised games generate revenue for the NHL too though.

Do you honestly think the NHL is spending any time at all thinking about managing and marketing the team right now??

The NHL owning the team is very much like the bank taking over a foreclosed home. They're not going to resurface the pool or upgrade the fridge. They want to sell fast, for a bargain price, in order to stop losing money on the property.

Televised Coyote games in AZ don't generate any revenue to anyone right now.

I would be very grateful to anyone who can provide me with scouting reports on any of Pyatt, Korpikoski, Boedker, Mueller, or Bissonnette, depending on who is playing and who is out. I find myself greatly interested in that battle for the last couple of spots. Kind of disappointing that the Coyotes just up and decided to take month off of television during the middle of the competition.

You looking for anything specific?

Not really. Just a general assessment of their play. Seems like Pyatt stepped up after his last scratch, and then faded. Then Korpikoski came in and scored those two great goals before fading. Now Pyatt has stepped it up again. I just want to know if either of those two(or perhaps Boedker or Mueller) could end up being the answer for us, or if we're really going to have to look for outside help.

I'm actually working on my quarter pole assessment at the moment.

When it comes to Korpokoski, it's all confidence. LaBarbera was interviewed on the bench not too long ago and he said that he's got all the tools but just lacks confidence.

The same can be said for Pyatt. He can fill just about any role on the roster and has the ability for a breakout year here but he just hasn't for whatever reason. His goal against the flames was a glimpse of the types of tools he possesses. Pyatt/Winnik/Fiddler should be the second line but they have yet to match their talents with goals.

I wonder how much on the confidence issue is from the ownership situation. We seem to have a lot of players that have a spark but not the fire we need. I know we dont have a lot to work with but I like what we have done so far. It will be interesting to see what the team does when an owner is announced.

I've seen every televised game and a couple of non-televised games. From what I've seen, anyone who plays on that Fiddler, Winnik line looks good. Whether it be Pyatt, Bissonnette, or even Shane Doan.

Mike92 12-05-2009 07:04 PM

I have one extra ticket to the game, 5 bucks, 2 rows from the glass if anyone wants to go.

We are a better team when any 2 of Biz, Mueller or Pyatt are scratched. Boedker has made a difference, even in his limited time.

Jakeman 12-05-2009 07:16 PM

I hope Mueller and Doan have a break out game.

TeamTippett 12-05-2009 07:27 PM

for the 10 years I have lived here, never once have all 82 games been on local TV. This is nothing new. Go to the frickin' Game. I'm sure there are dozens of excuses, bla bla bla plop down a couple of bucks and go!!! It's the road games (ala last Sunday) in which there is no TV on both sides that tick me off.
