This is what we've been waiting for. A primetime game seven matchup against an arch rival in their building. The Habs scoring first will be crucial. We have to feel very confident right now, but no matter what happens we know we played our hearts out.

Oohhhh baby! Here we go, game seven! Counting down the hours... Good job with the thread JLR, I like the little funny bits (Langdon :P) in there.

No prediction from me... just keep up the incredible work guys and WE WILL WIN! Believe in 417...'s vision! There's just no way Theo will not be on fire for this game, and the momentum is on our side. But the Bruins are very, very dangerous... It could go either way, but regardless, I'm so bleepin' proud of this bunch and I believe they can finish the job. Go Habs Go!

*plays the goal song mp3 again*

RE-HABS 04-18-2004 10:46 PM

This is the thing though...Ryder Scores!!!!

Habs...WIN!!! WIN!!!
WIN!!!
WIN!!!
WIN!!!

We are the better team and should have won this series a couple of games ago, we WILL WIN!!! :D

polarslam 04-18-2004 11:20 PM

I just have this feeling that Theodore is due to steal a game, he has not that for this team since early March.

I see the Bruins coming on strong but Theo dominating them and turning away all shots in a 2-0 win, with a goal from Koivu and an empty netter from Ryder.

Habs 04-18-2004 11:39 PM

If the Habs can get the first goal... and quiet the crowd..that would be a huge key. I hope they can keep it simple, and let the emotionally charged Bruins get into penalty trouble.

Go Habs.

Wildbeliefs 04-18-2004 11:42 PM

Now that the floodgates have been opened, I think it's pretty obvious what will happen: HATTRICK FOR LANGDON!!!

Guys, I'm really freaking out... if this game goes to overtime, I seriously think I will pass out from stress...

That is what I expect. A big Komi on Thornton tone-setter would be nice, too. That would stiffen them up a bit and perhaps force some errors. I wonder how Raycroft would respond? If the Brawns score first, we could be in for a doozy!
GOOOOO HABS!!

I'm concerned, from the looks of your avatar Thornton has his game face on. :p:

Some people we haven't heard from will hit the score sheet (Ryder, Ribs) & the Habs win 4-2.

I'm predicting a 3-2 overtime win for Montreal. Sheesh, I'm going to pee my pants.

Lafleur thinks.... SHUT UP LAFLEUR!

Orange 04-19-2004 08:31 AM

2-1 Habs, first OT with less than a minute left, Ryder with the GWG and Koivu with the other. Nylander scores for Boston.

Boston will score in the frist. Koivu will tie it halfway in the third period.

Karl Pilkington 04-19-2004 08:36 AM

Predictions on a big game like this usually jinx your team...

anyway, I don't think I'd be able to handle overtime... every time a Bruins player took a shot a wrinkle would form on my face, a hair would turn gray, and a tooth would fall out...

Go habs though... I'm in for a nervous night..

mcphee 04-19-2004 08:48 AM

I'm nervous as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rockers.

No doubt Ryder is long overdue!. No matter what happens we should be all very proud of what the team has accomplished this year!

markov` 04-19-2004 09:27 AM

This game will go in overtime, for me there is no doubt.

Guy Caballero 04-19-2004 10:19 AM

4-1 Habs. Bruins will outshoot us, but the Habs will control the flow, and Theodore/Raycroft will be the difference.

Capitano 04-19-2004 10:38 AM

I BELIEVE!

Habs 2 Bruins 1.
