Chris Clark a Class Act

Browsing around the inter-webs, I came across this article out of Edmonton today... good read, very interesting personal story about Chris Clark.

Nice story. I'm not sure how much the Jackets are looking to the stands for Jackets fans in Edmonton between periods, but it was nice that Clark did. I would figure in some cities it might be best not to linger.

Great read. Would be interesting to know the name of the kid if in fact he's being looked at by Junior scouts. Hope he can make it there.

I got a puck from Kris Russell after the pre-game skate for the San Jose game at the Tank in October. I was hanging out by their tunnel (in the corner of the arena) and he was one of the last off the ice. I guess he saw my hat or T-shirt, so he turned around, reached out & dropped the puck in my hand. I'm four months younger than Russ & thought it was awesome, so I can imagine how excited the kid was.

I wonder if the guy who wrote the article could send it to Columbus to get Clark to sign it. I came home and got Russ to sign mine at Hockey Fest...when talking to him, he smiled and remembered doing it. (His reply wasn't a "Yeah, sure, man, I probably did but whatever.", but a "YEAH! Yeah, I remember!")

Nice read and good on Clark for being a class act. I had a similiar situation last week when the Blue Jackets were in Vancouver. Brassard flipped a puck over the glass for me. I also saw Huselius do the same thing. I think a fan had a sign(perhaps challenging him or any player to shoot the puck through the camera hole). Huselius waved them to get out and he flipped a puck through the hole.
