Has anyone read the book The Outliers by Malcom Gladwell? He has an interesting theory why the best Canadian hockey players are all born around this time of year.

Isnt it the age cutoff for pewee hockey that causes some players to go against older or younger competition?

I know Gretzky is the 26th...who else?

Yeah, it was something to that effect, and the psychological/physical superiority snowballs the player gets older.

I know this may have applied to Mess, Gretz, etc.... I am just not sure when the best Canadian players playing today have been born.

When is the cutoff date exactly?

All times are GMT -5. The time now is 04:18 AM.
