Joonas Lehtivuori : your sleeper?

I was looking at your top 20 prospects on HF, and I saw this guy. I don't know him at all, but when I look at his stats, he's the best scoring d-man with Adirondack.

What could you tell me about him? What kind of potential do you see from him?

Hes some Finnish dude. His name is hard to say, and we are all rooting for him.

Potential? 3-4 guy TOPS.

Most likely a 5-6 or 7th guy.

Doubt hes much more than a spot starter in the NHL.

gotta hope for another late bloomer like Timonen though

Especially with a dman who its never shocking to see break into the NHL as a regular at 26-27.

He's actually got a pretty high ceiling IMO, but has a pretty low shot at fulfilling it completely

meltzer at hockey buzz really liked him which got me to watch him. right now we have a bunch of good enough type guys. nobody stellar but you hope with enough playing time they could develop into something. there could be 1 player in this d group or 5.

He's a really nice kid. I had the honor of having dinner with him at the Phantoms Phan Club dinner last year. I've seen him play a few games up in Glens Falls (and will again tomorrow) and I like the way he is going. He did take a hell of a hit a month or so ago when he got run into the edge of the glass near the players bench. That took him out for a few games. When I last saw him, it was one of his first games back and he didn't seem to be hesitant at all. I'll try to watch him more closely. I don't get time to analyze everyone since I am a photographer. When I see a play, I don't care who it is, I only care, is it cropped right and did I get the shot?

Obligatory:

Well, the Flyers have had some good luck with Fins, so it's very possible that Joonas could be something special. Kind of reminds me a bit of Niinimaa to be honest. Hopefully the Flyers won't panic and deal him after two seasons.....
