Scott Gomez 4 points tomorrow. You heard it here first.

Habs83 01-25-2010 10:52 PM

Price's save percentage is .913 not .904 and GAA is 2.73 not 2.76 per TSN

Excited to see Maxwell.

Hope this game is just as exciting as our last visit to Florida.

katatoniak 01-25-2010 11:01 PM

a goal by Maxwell!!!! Could be nice

One 01-25-2010 11:04 PM

Funny how those GDTs are created sooner when we're on a winning streak!

:handclap:

M.C.G. 31 01-25-2010 11:05 PM

Can't wait to see Maxwell play. This is another huge game (are any of them not these days?), we have to pull out with the two points here. Go Habs Go! I predict 5-2 Canadiens.

Nedved 01-25-2010 11:05 PM

go habs go.

totalrecall 01-25-2010 11:12 PM

Let's continue what we started. Teams around us helped us somewhat recently. Take advantage of it!

Go Habs Go!

TheHabMan43 01-25-2010 11:33 PM

I'm expecting a big game from the boys tomorrow
Can't wait to see Maxwell.

3-1 win

Le Tricolore 01-25-2010 11:35 PM

win, please.

Maliki2 01-25-2010 11:45 PM

Lets start building on the momentum that we built on the last few games...we can be a scoring machine when we want to...lets just do it more often!

NJ playing OTT (odds in favour of an NJ win despite the ott hot streak)
WSH playing ISL (please let nature take its course)
ANA playing ATL (don't think that will work out favourably for us)

Assuming we win and NYI and ATL lose (Ottawa is starting to drift far enough past us. I don't see us catching them, but obviously would help if they lost), this would be another big night for us in the standings. Key is defence as it has been most nights. I think our offense has finally caught fire in big part due to Pouliot as well as the usual suspects getting the chemistry right. Moen with Pleky and Cammy is interesting. I've always thought Moen does a good job of puck retrieval and is responsible. Third line seems poised to play a big role too with Darche playing well of late in addition to Max's last game and Maxwell bringing it like he tends to. I think JM might put Sergei on the Plek line depending on the situation. He's been playing pretty well and I think could score some goals, set up Cammy given the chance.

Anaheim is one of the hottest teams in the league of late.

habtastic 01-26-2010 05:23 AM

With Horton and Booth out, we have no excuse to lose this game. Only thing that worries me is the Vokoun show. Any official word on Halak starting? He should get the start given his shutout against them in addition to the obvious great play of late.

Well, no one was doing one so I did one. There's a lack of volunteering these days.

As true as that is, I'm not one to read into streaks. They end at some point and it's not like they are playing better than Atlanta. Put it this way...Kovalchuk scares me.

Anaheim is ahead of Atlanta and that's after a horrendous start. I believe that Anaheim is a top-8 team in the Western Conference, though with their horrible start they have a long ways to go before they get get a solid playoff spot.

Look at Koivu for example, 3 PTS and -9 in the first 10 Anaheim games this year. Since then, he's posted 26 points and +18 (+9 on the season) in 33 games.

King Woodballs 01-26-2010 06:49 AM

Lets get two of them tonight
