Apparently he's day-to-day, injury unspecified. Who knows what that means though.

I'm hoping this at least means we get a look at Moore finally.

as long as it's not a torn acl or something equally bad, i think it's somewhat of a good thing for the team to learn how to play without its top 2 dmen.

Doesn't sound too bad but who knows could be lying.

If it's a broken foot bone, could be out until after trade deadline.

Pavs was out 15 games I believe he had a broken foot bone.

lets not panic- it did not sound like it was a serious injury that would keep him out of the lineup that long - **** people are wanting Seto to play D now...

Did anyone actually see the play he was hurt on? Seems to be a mystery at this point.

i dont think it was bad. i was at the game and didnt notice him grimicing. might have just tweaked it.
to be honest the person i was most worried about was murray who took a shot off the foot that hurt him

Vlasic is an ironman too. He didn't miss a game last season or the season before that, and his rookie season saw him in 81 games. Here's hoping for the best.

I thought Staubitz started out as a D and played nearly all of his AHL career as D, until his last season when he got moved to forward? So it's not totally unreasonable that on a cap constrained team like the Sharks (who have both Couture and Demers already up), that they may try to have Staubitz sub in for a game to see how things go.

McLellan said he would not play Brad at D.

So, there might be two D guys recalled for Saturday's game.

Joslin or Moore will get called up. Staubby was just a practice fill-in, I bet.

The way the sharks medical staff evaluates these injuries, day to day means 2 weeks and 2 weeks means 6 weeks.

So no worries about Staubitz then. That might mean the D would be:

Murray - Blake
Huskins - Leach
Demers (?) - Joslin / Moore / Groulx (Danny) / ??

It's Joslin...

And who? Demers was sent down today. He's likely coming back.. but you never know.

I believe this means he actually has to go to Worchester for at least a day.

Couture arrived too late to play tonight. I didn't hear one word about Demers heading this way.

And as soon as I make my post his transaction is posted on theahl.com...I presume he's on the same flight as Joslin.
