Went with Devin DiDiomete. If Soryal is there, Didi also should be. He's a solid goon and therefore has a much better chance to make the NHL than anyone else left up there. It's not as if anyone remaining is going to be an impact player, so at this point, we should go with who's most likely to make it, and making it as a goon is easiest.

He already has the fighting skills and the hitting, and now he just has to learn some very basic skating and making the first pass out of the defensive zone. He won't even need to be that good at it to make it, he just has to be good enough to be "below average" at this.

Others have much more to go to make it onto an NHL roster.

I have a question about one of the kids in Hartford, Corey Locke. How good is this kid? I know you can't base how good a player is in a video game completely but after playing NHL 10 almost every trade proposed to me included this kid Corey Locke. Is he any good, or what?

I think he's like 25 or 26, puts up great numbers in the AHL but nothing in the NHL

I just looked at his stats and he's played 1 career NHL game for Montreal. So basically it seems as if this kid is an AHL'er or a 3rd or 4th liner in the NHL?

To be fair, he hasn't been given a shot.

1 career NHL game.

I hope Campbell doesn't make it on our top 30 because I bet he'll never get a contract. A junior should get more than 0.5 points per game in NCAA. His performance would've been acceptable for a freshman, but for a junior, it's terrible.

He's shown no improvement since his freshman year. He is still terrible 5-on-5. Imagine another Ales Kotalik, but much, much worse. Campbell will be the Kotalik of the AHL - someone who can score on the PP, but won't be able to play 5-on-5. I bet he'll max out as an AHL third liner.

I don't even see him as a top-6 forward in the AHL. Well, maybe the ECHL is a place where he'd be able to score 5-on-5, but even there I doubt it. If he can't do it in NCAA, he probably won't do it in the ECHL either.

Wikki Wikki Wikki ... shame he'll be missing out though.

If he makes it, he'll be #30. It won't exactly be devastating if he makes it. He has the skills to get to Hartford, and hopefully he can excel there.

IMO Wiikman is the only one with more than a snowballs chance in hell.

Sorry I'm not around to sticky the polls and all that. Snow in DC no power since friday night. Hopefully I'll be back online soon.
