Odd move.

Ceux de Montreal 02-08-2010 04:38 PM

Ok, now that is just stupid. Our kids line have been real good! Why not Maxwell instead?

I welcome Pyatt back gladly, but we should have keep White up.

Artyukhin* 02-08-2010 04:38 PM

ground hog day......

Next Best Thing* 02-08-2010 04:38 PM

What's Pyatt done to get called up? Curious.

wedge 02-08-2010 04:38 PM

one good game, one "bad" game then you're out...

I know they're just AHLers but still...

felixd 02-08-2010 04:38 PM

dominoes :scared:

Kind of surprised, thought Trotter played pretty well and I like White's toughness. I would have liked to kept White a little longer.

Might just mean one of D'Agostini, Bergeron, Pouliot or Kostitsyn are ready to return to the line up though.

PyrettaBlaze* 02-08-2010 04:38 PM

Makes no sense... Why send down White for Pyatt? White's been great for us.

JGRB 02-08-2010 04:39 PM

What a splash!:handclap:

la25ecoupe 02-08-2010 04:39 PM

I'd exchange Maxwell for Pyatt instead.

Hopefully its Pouliot...since we know Kosty will be out for longer.

If I'm not mistaken, a 4 pts night ? 3 goals and an assist.

Habsfan18 02-08-2010 04:40 PM

Why send White down? The kid is great to have on our 4th line.

Whitesnake 02-08-2010 04:41 PM

Is it a Gauthier move or a Martin move? Don't understand White being send down though. Don't understand one bit.

Didn't he score three goals in one game?

I have to say it's an odd move, though. White is intense, he even fought. Trotter had great chemistry with Desharnais.

They should have sent Maxwell down instead.

he hits to much

David_99 02-08-2010 04:42 PM

Some of the call ups lately have an adrenalin push for the first game, then go back to normal. Maybe he's going to yoyo these kids as much as he can to get the most out of them

Well, from the press conference and Gauthier's own mouth: they got in a meeting right after the PC was over so I'm guessing it's everyonee ie. Gauthier, Martin, Boucher I suppose?

Pouliot is on IR, can't play until friday, I think.

Maxpac 02-08-2010 04:46 PM

Son of a *****!

Why send the 2 that work instead of the one that ain't doing squat (Maxwell)

Andy 02-08-2010 04:46 PM

Isn't obvious? Gauthier is incompetant...fire him.

He had 4 points during one of the weekend games.

Not sure why the move, but those players won't really win or lose us many games in the short term.
