Good games P.K., Gomez, Gionta and Price looked sharp in the third, the rest of you were ****ing pathetic. :shakehead

couldn't even stop Briere from getting a hatty. What a bum.

Why did they send Ryan White down? He hits more than all other Habs combined.

Spacek was decent. Gill after a bad first was decent in the latter 2 periods too.

Rejoice people!! 2 weeks of quality hockey coming up!

coolasprICE 02-13-2010 08:52 PM

To cap it all off, the Bruins come back from behind and win 3 - 2 in SO

Because offensive guys like Desharnais are better suited playing on the 4th line for 5 minutes than an energy guy like White who would've beat Powe's face in.

Nashy 02-13-2010 08:53 PM

A boo worthy game to be sure.

2 breakaways against the resulted in goals.

A short-handed goal that iced the game.

A player "Powe"d for the second game in a row.

Flyers skating around the Habs D, all night.

No fire, no guts.....this team is fabric softener.

Get some grit, and some angry grit at that.

Habs have got to be one of the easiest teams to play against.

FeelsLike93 02-13-2010 08:53 PM

RDS said it best .. they said that all the injuries to the habs "arent excuses, its a reality" its true cause its not like its only 1 or 2 guys its our 3 top scorers

And I would really love to see trotter desharnais and white as our 4th line instead of that waste we have now (Metro Moen and dags).. the kids+subban bring tons of energy to our team and once Cammy Akost Pouliot are back it'd be great

Natural Habs Fan 02-13-2010 08:53 PM

More Subban, less Spacek.

Honestly? Our D looks pretty bad without Markov. Can't expect too much with the lineup we have right now.

M.C.G. 31 02-13-2010 08:53 PM

PK Subban was great tonight, as was Gomez and Gionta, who were magnificent. Price had a solid third, otherwise, the rest was garbage.

HabsIn7 02-13-2010 08:54 PM

sell sell sell.. if Toronto can find a way to unload Blake we can do the same with our bad contracts. This core is not good enough to win a cup I think that much is clear.

habfan1968 02-13-2010 08:54 PM

going into the break with 4 key players out and we are in shooting distance of a playoff spot, not great but not terrible. JM has some serious work to do over the next two weeks to get this groups up to snuff, on the positive we may be only missing Cammy when we get back from the break.

PS. Bring PK and White back after the break K?

Spacek played fine... And I agree, I'd say call Subban back up after the Olympics

Good we have no business being in the playoffs anyway. At least Boston put in the effort.

Most of our core wasn't playing tonight...

HabsIn7 02-13-2010 08:55 PM

I'd leave PK in the minors. Don't get me wrong the kid is clearly ready but I see no good in keeping him in Montreal unless our fortunes change after the break.

Our top scorers wouldn't have stood up for Pleks after he got pushed to the ice. Injuries are an excuse. Our team has no grit and no heart and that's going to kill you.

Have you seen anything from this team this season that made you think they were a contender?

Yeah I agree on those 2 also, both those guys could really use the 2 weeks off to get some rest as they have logged lots of minutes lately.

I would argue this as I found him average at best, superior to Hammer however half the forwards were superior to Hammer tonight.

Poulet Kostopoulos 02-13-2010 08:57 PM

So two Habs Powe'd in two days. Is this team a bunch of sissies or what? This seems to be the "identity" of this team these last several years. Quite depressing.

Sure, lots of big assets are injured but it's no excuse for poor effort (it didn't prevent Gio, Gomez and PK from having a good game).

Pretty much.

This organization has had a decade+ to do something about changing the philosophy and the toughness of this team and they just simply can't be bothered.

Gauthier is likely more of the same.
