First.

What's up boys. I will be there tomorrow with my best friend, who just happens to be French Canadian. I don't hold that against him.

Go Kings!

go_habs_go 03-05-2010 10:05 PM

I hate late games. Now I have to watch the Leafs-Sens game and see the Bruins further guarantee themselves a top 2 pick.

marc88 03-05-2010 10:23 PM

i'll be there! go habs go! :handclap:

They're putting Halak because Price has played the last two games and that despite his great performances, you have to give Jaro a chance to play.

Zad 03-05-2010 11:45 PM

Is Cammy hurt?

Dean Ambrose 03-05-2010 11:52 PM

Well, for once I'll actually watch the late game on CBC this time. Tom Pyatt was good for us last time he was up, when he was with Gomez and Gionta, hopefully, he plays that way on the line with Tomas Plekanec and Andrei Kostitsyn. Hope we pull out the win! Go Habs Go!

elsubz 03-06-2010 12:18 AM

Woohoo it's time for the annual MTL/LA fans flame war.

Where does it say Halak is in??

TheHabMan43 03-06-2010 12:56 AM

hopefully they can pull off a nice win since just about every game until the end of the season is pretty much a must win.
4-2 Habs:nod:

Nice GDT.

Go Habs.

It'll be a tough one as usual out West but hopefully we claw out at least a point.

Cool, that's great. Would you replace French Canadian with Black? What if you were at a Black Panthers gathering?

Go HABS!!! Desjardins with a hatty to win in OT!

I think that every night recently and in the near future I will have to stop admiring a Canadian roster player. We did that with a bunch last game (F you Heatley), now Doughty (who I loved...this will be hard) and then Getzlaf and Perry next.

Not feeling optimistic about this one. Maybe if we sit back on a one goal lead, rely on our goalie and miss open nets!:sarcasm:

why? We were doing just fine before the break with Halak's hot streak. He got to start many games in a row (yes I know, it was a first), and I like Halak, but Price is playing phenomenal. Meh, whatever. They'll both play well. Might as well put in Halak since we're going to get 40+ shots against.

RaMMuT 03-06-2010 06:52 AM

Oh man I cant wait to see my favorite player in action tonight

http://www.cbc.ca/gfx/images/sports/...80924getty.jpg

NOT Frolov :shakehead

I predict a win...

Let's show them what heart is all about

Ilyeu 03-06-2010 07:07 AM

I really enjoy this west coast tour, I wish there were more of them. Mtl vs S.J, L.A and Anaheim makes it different hockey versus a few good teams. I wish we were still doing the 2 point system, these games would be more enjoyable and less stressful.

airlouche 03-06-2010 08:17 AM

LA win 3-1 (empty net)

Newhabfan 03-06-2010 08:27 AM

My guess is it will be Halak, based on the "win-in, lose-out" rule that Martin probably discussed with the goalies earlier - it's one fair system that creates less frustration and is still effective for the team.

I don't like west coast games. Remember the poor performance in the 3rd in the Sharks game ? Well - just think that they were playing at 1 a.m., according to their bio clock. Try doing some sport at 1 am yourself - you cannot be in top physical shape - simply not possible.

No way you can compensate for that - I remember a discussion on the Als performance at the BC Lions - they have a week to carefully plan and try to compensate but there is always a drop in energy at the end of the game.

So - I expect a poor physical performance in the third, for biological reasons. If they win it should be during the first or maybe second.

Go HABS Go !

WeezyHabFan 03-06-2010 08:28 AM

Go SERGEI!!! 4th line wooo!!!
But yah should be a great game! lets see a hab win toninght, 5-2 Habs
