Short track speed skating
My son (8 yrs old) recently tried short track speed skating and loved it. Will this help him with his hockey skating, or are power skating classes better for him?

Power skating. The motion is different from hockey skates to speed skates. Edge control is too.

Definitely power skating. Speed skating is completly different. For speed skating they practice slowly getting to full speed, in hockey you NEED to get to full speed as fast as possible.

Also the skates are different for speed skating.
