When does Cammy return?

Its been 5 weeks now and the time table is supposedly 6-8 weeks. We could really use him right now. Just wondering if anything new has been reported on his status.

Dirty Danglez 03-08-2010 10:22 AM

Nothing new on his twitter :(

alexstream 03-08-2010 10:36 AM

I heard out of someone's *** on the radio that it would be on the week of March 14th

montreal 03-08-2010 10:40 AM

I haven't heard he's back on the ice yet, so I don't expect him back this week. Would be great if he was back by saturday for boston or the 16th in nyr. If not he's got to be back by the 22nd vs Ottawa as that is a huge week with the sens, Sabres, panthers and NJ (freaking 4 games in 6 days, ****!)

Fortunately, winning 3 out of 4 post-Olympics shows the team can win without Cammy

Now just finish off Tampa Bay, and things will be looking pretty good :)

Like everyone, I am looking forward to seeing the complete top 6 in action...

even seeing MAB back on the PP :)

Cammy

Last thing I read said he should be back mid-March.

I'd like to see Cammalleri get his 3rd Hat-Trick of the season.Anybody know the last Hab to do it? I'm thinking Brian Savage, since I remember him having at least 2 Hat-Tricks in one season.

I'm sure both (and all 3, if he did get 3) happened in October. He mailed it in, afterwards.

The team has been capable of playing without him in the lineup, now we're going to be scarier with him back as we'll have our two scoring lines back again!

Healthy lineup FTW! :handclap:

BakerNator 03-08-2010 11:02 PM

dont need him.

healthy scratch when he gets back

;)

habtastic 03-08-2010 11:19 PM

well lets just hope he returns good as new. Doubt his first game back will be spectacular, so we better pick up the "easier" wins we have coming up. The way the team has played recently, I expect them to win now. It'll be great if we can tread until he gets his mojo back (if it has at all left). I see that spot on the right side of the PP just waiting...

If Bergeron were healthy, how many people would want him in the lineup? If so I'm assuming you would mean on the 4th line and PP only. I know Spacek is bad, but there is such a thing as worse (I'm a proponent of cons outweigh the pros in his case). I wonder how good Mara's paper planes are.

I hope they keep Pyatt up when Cammy comes back.

Good news though.

Why, is he missing? We thought Bergy was with you.

As for Cammalleri, it would be exciting see him play against the Bruins next week. The Bruins haven't had to face our first two lines intact even once this season.

I don't see both Pyatt and Darche losing spots in the lineup. Since they've both been here, we've finally learned to play a rough and gritty game. It all goes to hell if we drop those two and play Lapierre, Bergeron and Metropolit.

Savage didn't mail it in, he just struggled staying healthy. The year he broke his neck, he managed to keep one of the top scoring paces in the league until late November.

Watsatheo 03-08-2010 11:26 PM

I say don't rush him. Make sure he's 100%. No need for him to risk reinjury and be out for the season.

I'll never forget that game. I still remember Huet was in net for the Kings. I always liked Savage, injuries really screwed his career.

Really excited, the cammy-plek-ak line is so fun to watch

Saku Koivu, Trent McCleary, Richard Zednik... :shakehead

Some people forgot that Zednik was an absolute beast for us in the playoffs, that guy was big game.
