Iginla on the move?

There is wide spread speculation tonight that the Calgary Flames are on the verge of making a huge deal. Earlier today Eklund a famous hack job rumour reporter first broke the news on his site hockeyrumoursfordummies.com that Iginla was going to be traded and he had it rated at a (E5) whatever that means. Well it appears that in fact for once Eklund might actually be onto something.

Today Darren Dreger from TSN said "I am hearing from very reliable sources that Jerome Iginla is on the verge of being traded. I haven't received word on which team is involved or on the players that might be headed back to Calgary but one has to assume that it would take a very good package for the Flames to move Iginla."

In other breaking news today, Mike Milbury, fresh from tanning his hide on South Beach, was caught off camera prior to tonights Panthers game, that commenting that this is just the annual "Flames have no money, and every year they threaten to trade Iginla. That GM in Calgary is worse than me."

Interesting to hear the rumours right after Iginla agreeing to a new 4 year deal with the Calgary. If true, I hope Flames have the $8M to pay to Swingstein Family for their hard work:D

Only 8. We've got so much money we'd pay 16.
