LET'S GO PREDATORS!

Important game in terms of seeding. Hopefully we can comfortably stick ourselves into the playoffs so that I'm not having a panic attack while at the Detroit game Friday.

With the Kings losing to the Wild I'm hoping they don't come into the game too fired up, but we'll see.

Let's get a full 60 minutes of hockey and come out with a win.

no problem. Any word on Erat?

My key to the game tonight is David Legwand. Can he score again? Back to back games? I put $11 on yes he can!

WalkmanX 03-30-2010 09:06 AM

Well the Kings are Due to a win over us, BUT not just yet :) Maybe next year :D

Hope our injured players are healing and close to coming back :)

From the Tennessean:

Quote:

Injury update: Forward Martin Erat on Monday joined the ranks of the injured for the Predators, as he missed the game because of a lower-body injury suffered Saturday against Detroit.

Erat returned to the game Saturday after suffering the injury in the first period, but things apparently went downhill after the contest.

"A lot of times you can play through injuries when you're still warm,'' Trotz said.

"When you cool off, you swell up a bit.''

Trotz said there's a chance Erat could play tonight, but it's looking more likely he'll return Thursday against St. Louis.

Wade Belak took Erat's spot, suiting up for the first time since Feb. 12.

On another injury front, forward Joel Ward made the trip and participated in the morning skate, but he sat out a fourth straight game with an upper-body injury.

Ward will return either tonight or Thursday.

Predators center Jason Arnott remains day-to-day while recovering from what he believes is a concussion.

Que Sera Sera 03-30-2010 09:32 AM

Damn it. Looks like no Arny again. Hopefuly Patric and Leggy can step up again to get us the win. I loved the play from Goc last night, hopefully we'll see him drive hard to the net some more.

The Kings have only won 3 of their last 10. Not sure if that makes me feel good or not.

Que Sera Sera 03-30-2010 10:20 AM

It means they're due for a win, but having just played like crap against the Wild I don't think they'll be in terrific spirits.

I'm trying to figure out how he had 1 game played, let 1 goal in, yet his GAA is 0.92.

Que Sera Sera 03-30-2010 10:47 AM

Are you sure he didn't play a few minutes in another game?
Also, Bernier will be good for guys like Leggy.

According to all the stats on the Kings' website, he has only played 1 game. :dunno:

Que Sera Sera 03-30-2010 10:52 AM

That's weird. Does it count as a GP if, say, Quick is chased with 12 mins left in the third and Bernier doesn't allow a goal?

His one game was a 2-1 shootout victory over Dallas...therefore his GAA is based on 1 GA in 65 minutes, which equals...0.92 GAA...

Que Sera Sera 03-30-2010 11:25 AM

Ahh I see. Thanks, SLake.

Lol, I'll be cheering even harder than usual for my Oilers tonight.

I want to clinch! :)

just a few more points!

Que Sera Sera 03-30-2010 01:16 PM

With a Calgary loss and a Nashville win... :D

Seth Lake 03-30-2010 01:30 PM

Tom Callahan reporting that the Predators did not have a morning skate today (arrived at BNA at 12:22 AM last night) and that Ward is doubtful for this evening...

Also reports that LA did have a morning skate and that Terry Murray told him that he was definitely going to shake up some things, but...wasn't sure what yet...expect Jones back in for Harrold though...
