I must say...Boucher has played pretty damn good the last few games. He wasn't perfect against Detroit, but he made the saves he needed to.

Let me walk all of you through my reactions of Boucher's save.

When all the pressure was occurring:

When the shot was fired:

When the puck was crawling towards the net:

And then the save was made...

Nice pictures

As much as I have hated Boucher all year, I'm glad he is still here to play. Great save

Anyone remember the save Shaun Burke made in Ottawa when he was here in 2004-2005 towards the end of the season? Same type of save, but more diving.

this is sooo much the game he needed the team needed and i think we as fans needed. he picked the perfect time to get hot and if he can keep this rollin it wil give the team the confidence we need going forward. its bri or die for our playoff lives

I don't know if this is correct (can someone back me up on this? I might've misheard) but according to the Maple Leafs announcers in Boucher's 17 losses the Flyers scored 16 goals.

I don't think the stat. includes the following games because of an empty net at the end and Boucher coming in, in the middle of the game:

-8-2 game against the Capitals in which Emery let in 5 out of 17 shots and afterwards Boucher let in 3 out of 13 in 28+ minutes. This was Laviolette's first game as coach.

-It also might not include the March 11th game against the Bruins where Boucher replaced Leighton and allowed 1 out of 12 shots.

-The last game against Pittsburgh on March 27th where Backlund got injured and Boucher allowed 2 goals in 20 minutes.

Losses

Oct. 25 SJS 4- Phi 1 (24-28 shots)

Nov. 23 COL 5- Phi 4 (Boucher replaced Emery and played 29:56 minutes allowing one goal on 11 shots)

Nov. 28 ATL 1- Phi 0 (17-18 shots)
Dec. 3 VAN 3- Phi 0 (26-29 shots)
Dec. 7 MTL 3- Phi 0 (10-13 shots)
Dec. 10 OTT 2- Phi 0 (23-24 shots the 2nd goal must've been an empty net goal)
Dec. 12 NJD 4- Phi 1 (24-28 shots)
Dec. 15 PIT 6- Phi 1 (29-35 shots)
Dec. 17 NYR 2- Phi 1 (22-24 shots OTL)

Dec. 19 FLA 4- Phi 1 (Boucher allowed 2 goals- 11-13 shots in 22:01 min. then his hand got injured, Leighton let in 2 goals- 15-17 shots- in 37:59 min.)

Dec. 21
Jan. 3
Mar. 3
Mar. 16
Mar. 20
Mar. 21
Mar. 23
Mar. 25
April 1
April 2

I don't feel like filling in the rest right now :). Of course one could argue even if this info makes him look better the quality of the shots he let it may have been bad. In addition seeing how many goals he let in on wins would also be helpful too.

The best part about that highlight "Hartnell is going to get an earful when he gets back to the bench."

He made a save during the lockout?
