Stanley Cup Playoffs Round 0, Games 6 and 7: Bring on them Rangers.

Essentially where we're at. They beat us in regulation or OT on Friday, they live again til Sunday. Win in regulation on Friday and it's all over for them. Loser points aside, of course.

How thrilling and terrifying is this gonna be?

Lets ask Heart Attack Guy

It's going to be nail biting good.

Flyers93 04-08-2010 03:16 AM

nevermore 04-08-2010 03:58 AM

I'm already nervous. No idea how I'd survive a deciding Game 82.

SolidSnakeUS 04-08-2010 05:27 AM

Bring it on. Just bring it the **** on.

FlyerX 04-08-2010 06:57 AM

Keep it simple . . . win on the road Friday night.

RoDu 04-08-2010 07:30 AM

one key to victory is ignore Avery, especially you Hartnell

skullsmasher 04-08-2010 07:35 AM

If the flyers win are the rangers mathematically out?

I think so. I think then the best the Rangers could do is tie us in the standings, but we have the tie breaker

Hard to believe with all of our goalie fiasco we've had this year, our GAA is not the worst of the playoff teams, and ours is better than both Washington's and Pittsburgh's

Don Nachbaur 26 04-08-2010 07:49 AM

Wish I could watch the games up here.

FlyHigh 04-08-2010 07:58 AM

Ugh, not making the playoffs would be such a stomach punch now.

avery has a knee injury.. definitely wont play friday, probably the same on sunday.. hasnt played since 3/27 in toronto

guna be a great, nerve racking 2 game set.. good luck fellas

GKJ 04-08-2010 08:01 AM

Both teams deserve to have this weekend mean something. The Rangers played well enough, and the Flyers played themselves into this position. The Flyers should have to make the playoffs because they won to get in, not because everyone out-choked them. The Leafs were nice enough to take points from a lot of teams in order to have us in this position. Should be pretty good.

I never heard about that, but it makes me happy. I want to projectile vomit everytime I see his face.

I'm just super pissed at Toronto right now. Can't ****ing rely on them to do anything right. I was hoping this was going to be a slightly less nerve wracking end of the season this year. I know we're talking about the Flyers who like to make it interesting every year, but maybe just once we could lock up a spot NOT in the last game or two of the season.

Toronto took at least 1 point from Ottawa (3), Montreal, Boston, the Rangers, and Atlanta while not taking any from us in 2 games since the Olympics. Can't really ask for much more from the last place team in the conference.

I know, I understand, but I can still be bitter about last night too haha.

Kaktus* 04-08-2010 08:32 AM

Hockey gods help B.Boucher.

NYR have one line that can score and they have a bunch of injuries. We should be able to win at least once.

We outplayed them in every but one game. If we lose and won't make playoffs I do not want to hear excuses. Heads got to roll.

Looking forward to this weekend. Should be fun.

Hey well, they are the worst team in the conference :sarcasm:

It was really the first 10 minutes they didn't show up for. Once they got past the first 10 minutes, it was a pretty tight game.

JLHockeyKnight 04-08-2010 08:43 AM

Round 0. I like it.
