My NEW home hockey locker
 

Well I moved out of my old house which had a cool shed in the back that my brother and i made into our hockey room. It held all of our gear and worked out great.

I needed a new place to store my stuff now that i live in an apartment, so I came up with this!

Now come the mods...

I bought 2 dowels and cut them to size, then attached the dowel ends to interior wall of the shed...

I added 3M hooks to hold my helmet and dirty laundry bag, as well as an over the door hook to hold my gear bag.

The black bin at the bottom holds my clean hockey clothes and my gloves and skates sit on top of it.

The shed can be locked with a padlock (which I will get tomorrow) and is weather resistant, so I'm not worried about the rain.

The box even came with a template to add a shelf if one desires.

All said and done, $161.02 (before tax). Not bad, eh?

I think it's a pretty good idea for someone who lives in a small flat. Does it smell badly inside? Does it smell around it, when it's closed?

3000x4000 pixels? really?

I know this board resizes pics, but not all of us have a computer that can handle those pics without crashing.

Well the images should be resized but some of you guys deserve a punch in the balls for being such dicks about it .... just my opinion of course. I too am using a laptop and it hates the images that big.

That being said nice job on the closet shed thingie, hopefully I will never need one of those because I hope the days of living in an apartment are over BUT in this economy one never knows. It has been very difficult making the mortgage payments for almost a year now and it does not look to get any better any time soon. I don't care what ******** the Obama admin shoves on us in their press conferences .... come make MY payments meathead prez! Bail ME out.


Nice price on that closet thing, it is an idea to file in the back of my mind should the need ever arise.

It sits out on my apartment patio, while "covered" by the units above, it still gets wet.

Unlike most players, I actually wash my gear. It doesn't smell right now, but I have only had it up one day, and i just washed my gear a few hours ago, but I'll let you know in the coming months.

You could install a showerhead and use it as a shower too. :laugh: When I first saw it I thought you had purchased a porta-potty for your apartment.

You should put a "whatever porta potty company is in your area logo" sticker on it for giggles.

Ok thanks. ;) If the smell stays inside I'll be very interested in such a locker.

It's about half the depth of a port-o-potty. You could fit a urinal, but not a sit down.


But if my gear ends up smelling like crap, it'll be a good excuse!
