Please sir, can I have some Moore?

Re-sign this guy.

edit: also, this is probably the best thread title ever :sarcasm:

Habsbullet 04-28-2010 08:57 PM

definitely, the 2nd rounder prevails.

Alaix 04-28-2010 08:57 PM

Agree

Shawn Wilken 04-28-2010 08:58 PM

Yes.

Leafs sure made a mistake by letting this guy go when they had him.

xduckiex 04-28-2010 08:59 PM

But what about our second rounder? Won't someone pleeeease think of the second rounder!

:sarcasm: if you didn't catch it...

LaurentHabs 04-28-2010 09:01 PM

See who would ever thought a second round pick that hasn't been picked yet would score the GWG in a game 7

Bring_Bak_Damphousse 04-28-2010 09:03 PM

That was so clutch, good on Lapierre aswell, completely took that ass clown green outta the play.

scottyG 04-28-2010 09:06 PM

I support this trade from day 1.

Moore = God :sarcasm:

Not quite "Moore Cowbell", but your title works just as well. ;)

MaKi 04-28-2010 09:08 PM

Belanger is better value for a second rounder than Moore!

I agree, I'm impressed with your creativity overlords. ;)

Jack Bourdain 04-28-2010 09:24 PM

Moore? You want some Moore? NO. *hits with stick*

shutehinside 04-28-2010 09:24 PM

i said a bottom 6 forward would win it for us thinking of Moore. I have to say I was super surprised when he burried that biscuit!

Analyzer* 04-28-2010 09:25 PM

You want some Ore ?

Habskrieg 04-28-2010 09:25 PM

Yes, resign him. Ever since he played his first game with us, I didn't care what we gave, it was well worth it. He has been nothing but good for us.
RESIGN HIM!

M.C.G. 31 04-28-2010 09:26 PM

Sign him right now!

Well, he actually wanted somewhere near $2.0-2.5 per year before he found out no one was going to give him that. So he finally settled for $1.1M in Florida, which ended up being less than what Toronto offered (I think Burke offered upto 1.7). Nonetheless, he's the type you need to win. Great character.

And he's proving his worth. You'd be surprised reading some of the comments on HF when he was on the Leafs, calling him a fluke, overrated, and only benefiting because of the ice time he got (which is apparently a flaw  ).

Glad he's doing well.

Once again, congrats!

Fixed.

And Yes I agree He should be re-signed, just an amazing 3rd liner.

CareyClutch 05-21-2010 06:56 PM

Moore is a keeper, no doubt...we have no one in the depth chart to replace him anyway..I think everywhere Lappy is better suited for the wing position

Magic33 05-21-2010 06:57 PM

4 years - 5 million dollars. Do it!
