Easton S17 vs CCM U+ Sticks

Does anyone have any insight into either one of these sticks? I can get the two for around the same price, so that is not an issue.

If it helps at all, I am a forward who predominantly takes wrist shots from the top of the circles and in, or close in shots.

I've used both, and the U+ CL makes the S17 feel like a brick. They're both good sticks, so it's more personal preference. I suppose the ellipctical taper gives the S17 a slight edge, but the weight of the CL evens it up again.

Plus you can get S17s on clearance for around $100 each, where as CLs still cost more.

EDIT: Just realized you were talking about the Old U+, in that case you better get the S17.

Easton it's far more durable. The U+is a great stick but not even close to as durable and I think the Easton is a few grams lighter. (10g)

I have used both.

There is my $0.02 CAD.

Edit: CL is a nice stick but the 17 will last longer.

Neither lasts very long. If you want durability, buy an ST and stop complaining about a few grams.

Well on eBay for around $100, but Hockeymonkey has them for like $115...

I just had trouble selling mine for $100.

I love my rebellion black line red for durability. ST Bahhh :)

Eh, I like the S17 but it is definitely not durable. I've broken 3 or 4 S17s in 3 years, and when my current S17 breaks I'm switching to something else.
