Top line center to Phoenix?

The Coyotes may lose out on both Zbynek Michalek and Matthew Lombardi, so Phoenix will have some serious holes to fill. Don Maloney won't let those holes be voided, and as of right now Matthew Lombardi is the Phoenix's top center.

Thoughts on who the Coyotes could acquire via trade or free agency?

Mike Ribeiro?

60-80 points isn't a 1st line center? News to me.

jacksongs 06-20-2010 09:50 PM

Tipp did get the best out of Ribeiro...

Makes sense.

Is Yandle and Tikhonov too much from Phoenix?

That's a little broad, 60 points isn't. But 80 is.

untouchable21 06-20-2010 09:53 PM

Yandle is going nowhere. Not for Ribeiro anyways.

Sorry, I'm a Rangers fan. I'd give anything for a 60 point center. Haha..ha....:(

I hope Stepan turns into that...but no worries. We'll trade him for Mike Modano's rights soon.

OneSharpMarble 06-20-2010 10:01 PM

Gomez! No take backsies.

Blackhawkswincup 06-20-2010 10:02 PM

Patrick Sharp?

Could be your #1 C for upcoming season if you need a replacement

3.9 mil x 2 yrs
Great lockerroom guy
Strong in both ends of the ice

Guest123 06-20-2010 10:04 PM

I have an inkling that Phoenix might be in the running for Carter

Carter for Doan.

I'd also accept a package involving around Brett MacLean but the top trade is more realistic IMO.

Most of us Coyote fans are agree that Sharp is who we want.

Well Doan will not be traded. The only way I ever see Doan going is via free agency in his last years of hockey...and I still can't see that happening.

Carter will be too expensive for the Coyotes I'm afraid

I am fairly certain Doan will be a Coyote for life

DIdn't he say he would retire if the franchise moves?

Both teams say "aww HELL no."

Doan is a Coyote for life, and Philly would need more than Doan coming back. Like the 13 and a mid level prospect.

Randall Ritchey 06-20-2010 10:12 PM

How has Turris developed?

This might very well work...but I don't see Phoenix trading Bryzgalov who carried them and has a great chance to win the Vezina after this year. Maybe straight up.
