Looks like Nathan Horton to the Boston Bruins is a done deal. Working on details.

Good. Horton is actually extremely overrated, can't wait to see to which extent they gutted their team/future for him.

elsubz 06-22-2010 01:44 PM

Seriously hope they overpaid

Andy 06-22-2010 01:45 PM

Wow. Let's see what the pieces are before.

For sure Ryder went the other way. probably the 15th overall as well and a prospect.

Habsfan18 06-22-2010 01:48 PM

Here's hoping they overpaid.

gusfring 06-22-2010 01:49 PM

Horton is the kind of player we could have used here.

FlyingKostitsyn 06-22-2010 01:49 PM

''Players are being notified, but its horton and another Panther for 1 Bruin.''

Woah... So who is going the other way Bergeron? Needs to be someone with value... Probably a center too, since they'll likely draft Seguin.

lol. A big Soft player? Pass

Nakamura 06-22-2010 01:50 PM

Savard?!

Next Best Thing* 06-22-2010 01:50 PM

There is a Toronto 1st involed in there somewhere, I hope they paid through the nose for him.

Kimota 06-22-2010 01:50 PM

He's overrated but I would have welcomed him like crazy to the Habs. Crap.

They'd be freakin' dumb to get rid of that high pick!

Yah, we look for small soft players, right?

bipolarhabfan 06-22-2010 01:52 PM

He is a good player but has not shown the ability to be that go to guy. However, I feel that he will be placed in a better situation in Boston because he will be insulated by players such as Kreji/Bergeron/Savard. He and Savard could form a potent duo. We must also remember that Boston is picking #2 and will surely have Tyler Seguin in the lineup next season. They look like a better team right now because they have addressed the need for goal scoring.

The only way it's for one player is a guy like Bergeron or Krejci...unless they are trading Colborne.

Thomas, Fla has Vokoun and Boston won't move Rask.

Chara is untoucheable and is Captain.

Ryder wouldn't get them Horton, neither would Wheeler.

Lol so your Solution is to get bigger softer players. Sweet, No thanks. I'd rather go for bigger grittier players thanks.

Kid Dynomite 06-22-2010 01:57 PM

The Bruins will still find a way to lose when it counts.

M.C.G. 31 06-22-2010 02:01 PM

Horton and Campbell for Wideman and 15th overall according to Bob McKenzie.

TankEller* 06-22-2010 02:01 PM

2 Panthers going to Boston for one Bruins. Some noise that it could be Savard.

EDIT: Horton and Gregory Campbell for Dennis Wideman, 15th overall pick and another draft pick. Done.

Good deal for Boston IMHO.

gusfring 06-22-2010 02:02 PM

I love how a guy who can average 23-25 goals a year sucks... Meanwhile, #46 is still on our team...

Nakamura 06-22-2010 02:02 PM

Horton + Campbell

For

Wideman + 15th overall pick + another pick

Ouch. What the hell, Tallon!?

Ghetto Sangria 06-22-2010 02:02 PM

Wideman??? dear got florida got ripped a new one...

Habsfan18 06-22-2010 02:03 PM

Per Bob:

ugh..

couris 06-22-2010 02:04 PM

wow **** you florida

Andy 06-22-2010 02:05 PM

hmmm. Why would Tallon do this trade?

Boston still needs to move salary now. Look for Boston to continue trading.

Edit: NVM wideman and horton's salaries pretty much cancel out.
