New Zealand Hockey

Hey,

I've been offered an engineering position and quick visa to move to New Zealand, Auckland area. I was wondering if anyone knows about the hockey situation there and availability of mens leagues/beer leagues....or maybe better if that talent is that bad, I see their national mens team is ranked 40th. I used to play competitive, and could be a decent goon for their squad.

I would say a team goon is fairly low on the list of priorities in New Zealand but good luck.

my buddy played there last year and said it was pretty fun. But said they arent as physical, (compared to senior mens hockey in saskatchewan). depends what calibre of player u r i guess. but he had fun.
