Help Indentifying Prostock Curves
Hello. I just bought a stick, a CCM Vector 10 to be exact, and I was told its a prostock curve. Is there any way to identify a player that uses this curve? I know it doesn't matter, I'm just curious. Where the name of the player whose curve it is is usually written, there is a stamping of sorts that says FC-40. That's about all the info it gives me.

Here are some pictures of the curve:

Thanks for any help I can get.

Check out http://patterndb.com/main.php, I did a search for "fc-40" and got 2 hits. Keep in mind that not all Pro-Stock gear is player-specific, the phase itself just means a professional team ordered the equipment and has now dumped it off. Lots of the pro-stock sticks I've seen are sold with no player name, only a stamp similar to the one you described.
For what it's worth, that blade curvature suggests (to me anyway) that a defenseman used to use that stick, so that might help narrow down your search.

It's a stock pro pattern. It's like Bauer id but for pros. Most of them are used for training camp. It's actually a RP or "Styles" both of which are Roenick pro patterns.

The pattern says nothing about position. Briere uses a bigger wedge than that, he's obviously not a defenseman.

Hmm...might it be the curve Maxim Lapierre uses? That'd be pretty funny, my favorite curve I tried in the store was also my favorite players'. See here:

There's also a bunch more players using similar ones.

Just to add to my comment with pics:

via patterndb, Roenick pro:

and since it is a stock pattern, it's available in LH or RH.

and comparison, notice the only difference is the angle of the shaft:

In CCM/RBK/Reebok it's a **-40, others have it as RP or Roenick Pro and "Styles" is just a bit different. Bauer has one too but I can't recall the pattern number.
