Voted for Bobro. It's between either him or Eriksson at this point.

PhilaFlyers 07-19-2010 12:30 AM

Eriksson

hockeyfreak7 07-19-2010 12:32 AM

What a depressing thread...

GoneFullHextall 07-19-2010 12:53 AM

gonna go with what I know.
Eriksson

OriginJM 07-19-2010 01:03 AM

1. Sergei Bobrovsky
2. Sergei Bobrovsky
3. Sergei Bobrovsky
4. Sergei Bobrovsky
5. Sergei Bobrovsky
6. Sergei Bobrovsky
7. Sergei Bobrovsky
8. Sergei Bobrovsky
9. Sergei Bobrovsky
10. Sergei Bobrovsky

And an honorable mention to Bobrovsky.

Did I mention Ser... oh yeah, totally did.

Mgkibbles 07-19-2010 01:21 AM

Its a really tight comparison when talking about Bobo and Erkisson, but since Bobo seems to be closer to an NHL roster spot I'll choose him.

SolidSnakeUS 07-19-2010 01:31 AM

As it stands, Bobrovsky.

decadentia 07-19-2010 01:40 AM

I was going to vote, but I have to be honest, I no sweet clue who is "better" between Erikon or Bobrovsky.

This.

I'm not voting.

ELab2 07-19-2010 02:14 AM

Bobrovsky or Eriksson. Who is better? Not sure. But Bobrovsky has had plenty of success in a top pro-league. Eriksson has not done that yet, so I'll say Bobrovsky.

Rick Deckard 07-19-2010 03:18 AM

Bobrovsky over Eriksson. He was the starter at his nations top league, Eriksson hasn't had that opportunity yet. Both have the potential to become starting goaltenders, Bobrovsky gets the nod due to his experience.

Add Erik Gustafsson to the poll

CptCannon 07-19-2010 04:00 AM

Eriksson over Bobrovsky.

KHL-card is a strong threat for Bobo's NHL-career, specially given his piss-poor english skills.

Skill wise I think they're pretty close.

PhilaFlyers 07-19-2010 04:53 AM

Yes add Gustafsson.

Spongolium* 07-19-2010 05:19 AM

Eriksson wins this. The kid is younger, and looks pretty scary at the moment. I just hope he pans out.

This kid Gustafsson. I know nothing about him, yet he performed pretty damn well in the AHL in 5 games. Anyone got any info for me please?

RJ8812 07-19-2010 05:56 AM

we've got an awful prospects pool...

CanuckistanFlyerfan 07-19-2010 06:06 AM

I vote the next player we take in the top 2 rounds...IF that ever happens again.

sa cyred 07-19-2010 06:43 AM

No bluechips but hopefully Eriksson and/or Bob pan out and we have a starter.

I went with Eriksson just cause he has been in the organization longer.

Add Gustafsson

RoDu 07-19-2010 06:54 AM

Erikson

XS Chop 07-19-2010 07:07 AM

People seemed pretty excited about Marshall and Bourdon this time last year, have they not progressed as expected?

phillyfanatic 07-19-2010 07:15 AM

Now=Bobrovsky
Long term=Eriksson

DeadPhish5858 07-19-2010 07:17 AM

I didn't know we had prospects. I went Bobrovsky but it was a toss up between him and Eriksson.

I don't think anybody is disappointed in them. I'm still excited about them. I'd expect they will be in our Top 5. Our 2 goalie prospects are just the top 2 I'd say.

jd2210 07-19-2010 07:49 AM

Voted Bobo, but it's a draw between the 2 tenders. Add Gustafsson and Rinaldo and I'd take away Parks for now.

Giroux tha Damaja 07-19-2010 09:26 AM

Poor Bart. He has shown more at the NHL level than any of these guys, and I don't see why he can't continue to improve. Granted he isn't hyped to hell and back, but he looks promising as a mid-pairing type of guy once his game rounds out.
