Straight visor vs. Aviator visor

I currently have a straight cut Oakley visor that got a huge scratch right in the middle after only 5 games.

I'm looking to buy a new visor, it's gonna be a Hejduk one but I'm hesitating between a straight cut or an aviator look, you know, the one with 2 "goggle" like bumps where the eyes are.

What are the differences between the two? Does the vision change? Does the Aviator model offer a bit more protection because it does seem that it goes a bit lower.

thanks.

I wear an Itech aviator shield and the difference is, the nose cut allows for more airflow.

More airflow, less fogging. I've gone back and forth a few times between straight and aviator and the aviator seems to perform better for me.

From past posts of yours, you're only interested in what looks cool. Get whatever you think makes you look cooler and then get a tinted color.

Ive used the straight cut for 2 years..and only once ive been hit in the face..and it was on the nose with a highstick came up through the visor.. regardless to how the visor looks like style and all they provide pretty much equal protection if your that worried go wear a cage
