ChaseMe 08-19-2010 02:24 PM

Love this news, always want to watch some of the Hamilton games.

LyricalLyricist 08-19-2010 02:29 PM

That's awesome, RDS should do the same.

neofury* 08-19-2010 02:29 PM

Woot! And of course AHL > NFL.

You've got to love the fact that the world still revolves around Toronto.... 7 of 10 games....

I'm aware but we're used to it. That's why RDS should step up and worry about hamilton.

They should show all 12 games between Toronto and Hamilton instead.

Juice 08-19-2010 02:56 PM

Cool...but very typical of cbc to have 7 of the 10 to feature Toronto!!

llamateizer 08-19-2010 02:59 PM

where is the problem?
there is a bigger market watching toronto than hamilton.

Juice 08-19-2010 03:16 PM

No wants to watch the leafs except people in toronto...they could of threw in another OKC game or Binghamton game.

Who cares if it's at the same time as NFL. Watch NFL then. If you care so much about one to easily rule out the other, then you're not really missing out on anything.

Um... advertisers who are concerned with ratings share and ultimately provide the production money? They should care. Can't get much stiffer competition for ratings, I'd say.

Personally, depending on the televised NFL matchups, the Hamilton games could end up as my "flick to" and not the other way around. We'll see.

Crimson Skorpion 08-19-2010 04:23 PM

I love the NFL, but there is no way I'm missing a chance to see a few games of the Bulldogs on CBC.

I would have said the same before I watched my Jets get creamed in their 1st preseason game against the Giants. They need to sign Revis, like right fast.

Actually, hockey is by far my favourite sport, but I'm a fan of many sports and a multi-tasker. I often watch several different games from different sports simultaneously. Unless it's a Habs game. Then, it's pure Habs undiluted.
