Came*ron... sounds like a robot porn star.

So yeah, Preds fan. I was wondering why I didn't recognize any of the players listed.

That's an absurdly good prospects team. The D is so stacked: Blum, Ellis, COR, & Josi. Offense is pretty decent too with Watson, Beck, and Boom Boom Lite.

Any idea what the Panthers invite roster is?

Up front, watch Linus Klasen. He's 24, a SEL scorer signed as a FA by the Preds back in the spring. He's small, but blew everyone away at prospects camp back in July. He is possibly the best stickhandler I've seen since Pavel Datsyuk. Now obviously, i'm not saying he's Datsyuk, but the dude is seriously skilled.

Anders Lindback also swapped jobs back and forth with Markstrom when they were on the same team in the SEL as well--another interesting storyline.

The only players that I know will be there are Gudbranson, Markstrom, Howden, Robak, McFarland, Petrovic, and Dadonov. I hope they post the full roster soon.

Good team fielded by Nashville! I will be there and will post my thoughts.

if Linus Klasen is the same Klasen who plays for SSK man are you guys lucky. his hands are insane! every time i watch him play i always tell myself that the panthers should give him a look. the only worry i would have about him is his size, and if he's willing to work hard in the corners. also sometimes he can make sloppy mistakes because he tries to do too much. but when he's on fire nobody can stop him

It is in fact the same Klasen. I agree that size and likely speed are his obstacles...and he also reportedly showed up to camp a little on the "pudgy" side, but he ended up staying in Nashville most of the summer to work with the Preds' strength and conditioning coach, which says a lot about his commitment. He's a darkhorse to end up making the team this season, along with fellow swede Jonas Andersson.

Only for a couple months.:p:;)

But yeah, these should be a great couple games. Both systems are superb. The Panthers' roster came out yesterday...

Although it is the full training camp roster, they didn't separate the rookie camp players. But you can tell who the rookies will be.

A notable invite to the main camp though is Tyler Arnason. He could be signed and sent to Rochester if he has a good camp, ala Oreskovich last year. That would give the Amerks the top 6 player they are missing. Maybe he evens makes the Panthers but chances are slim.

I'm really hoping Arnason makes his way to Rochester. Will shore up that top 6.

Interesting on some of the invites to camp. Adrian Foster was a first rounder by NJ back a long time ago and he's really talented, but he hasn't put it together.

Vaskuvio or however you spell his name played at Glacier Ice over in Pompano growing up. I remember he was a few years older than me but was one of the best players on the local travel team out of that rink.

Brody Sutter played at Incredible Ice and for the Jr. Panthers for several years before moving up to Canada I believe.

I played roller hockey with him growing up in West Palm. I was on the 10&U travel team from Atlantis Skateway and he was on the 12&U team, played like that (combined practices) for a few years then I ran back into him probably later in middle school. Never really thought about what he went on to do but everyone on those teams pretty much went on to play ice and got way better than me.

Just saw his facebook profile commenting on a mutual friend's. (random and irrelevant, I know)

He trains with Wade Belak in the offseason.

Back in the day IIRC he was up there with Heatley and Kolanos, but had significant injuries so he wasn't even ranked come draft time, but NJ took him anyway. He's had even more injuries which has really derailed his career before it even started.
