GDT MUSIC -- "Again" by Alice in Chains

ChumpyG 09-23-2010 11:51 PM

First?

I see that Brad Ross wasn't on the Leafs roster. Was hoping to see him play with the big guys a bit (before they send back here to P-Town of course). Oh well.

Go Flyers!!!

DeadPhish5858 09-24-2010 12:13 AM

Vengeance Now.

Pwood 09-24-2010 12:19 AM

Great song choice. :handclap:

Hopefully we can see more of Bob to gauge his play throughout the game.

sa cyred 09-24-2010 12:31 AM

Hmm I got... Leighton and.... hmm Riopel maybe backing up? Is Backlund f'ing healthy yet, dudes been hurt for like 6 months.

ChumpyG 09-24-2010 04:56 AM

According to my programming guide (Dish Network if that matters), NHL Network US has Blackhawks vs. Red Wings when the Flyers game is supposed to be on (7ET/4PT). Then the Flyers/Leafs game in condensed form at 7PT/10ET.

GKJ 09-24-2010 09:25 AM

RT @DownGoesBrown: #EricWellwoodIsSoFast RT @kevin_mcgran: Flyers have Eric Wellwood listed too. He is Kyle's bigger, faster, fitter younger brother.

MiamiScreamingEagles 09-24-2010 09:33 AM

The Minnesota game may not have any broadcast outlet for either side, TV/radio or otherwise?

Edit: Tim Saunders made it sound like tonight's game is on WIP so maybe the crew is traveling to Minnesota, too.

The #leafs will have their best lineup of the pre-season so far tonight...17 of 24 guys on roster likely to make the team.
Be afraid, be very afraid

I'm thinking that too.

Thanks, MSE. Killing it with the gdts, always.

Have they come up with this season's theme yet? I'd like Relentless Vengeance For More Now. Or just Relentless-er.

Wanna see more Bob! I like this kid.

Great song, choice! Alice in Chains is a very underrated album, and Again is one of the better tracks on there (in my opinion).

Wow, their pretty much playing almost their full A-Team.

Should be interesting who we play.

We know Carter, Hartnell, and JVR arent playing.

Briere, Richards, Zherdev, and Giroux are.

Powe, and Lappy most likely.

On defense Timonen, O'Donnell, and Coburn are most likely playing.

Who am I forgetting?

Just some phantoms I think MIGHT play tonight. Maroon, Gustaffson, Marshall, and Laliberte. Maybe Legein? Dont know.

EDIT: Read Wellwood is playing,so adding him in. I guess 3rd line?

EDIT2: So JVR, Guerin, Carcillo and Carter will be playing? Read from the McGran guy. Said they could be scratched.

CptCannon 09-24-2010 11:25 AM

Orr is playing, so we should field Shelley then.

Go Flyers!

MiamiScreamingEagles 09-24-2010 11:28 AM

There's probably a desire not to play players three straight nights (Thurs, Fri, Sat.) so that needs to be considered, too.

I'd like to see Leighton pencilled in for a full game. May as well gauge how he will handle #1 duties early on.

Is teh game on comcast?

Agree I don't think there's any chance of that happening but I'd like to see it

Either way I'm looking forward to watching leights between the pipes tonites

Go Philly go

CptCannon 09-24-2010 01:17 PM

Might not able to catch this one.

Good Luck Flyers anyway!

CharlieGirl 09-24-2010 01:34 PM

I won't see any of this one, so you guys will have to cheer for me. And post often so I can read through later!

Great job MSE - once again, thank you. Great choice for song!

jd2210 09-24-2010 02:07 PM

Once again I'm most excited to see some of the guys who will be Phantoms this year. Wellwood is who I'm most curious on. I hope Legin plays. I have heard ZERO about him this camp.
