call lavy, i'm sure he's the only one that knows right now

mpHoff 10-07-2010 11:13 PM

How would anybody know right now?

OriginJM 10-07-2010 11:13 PM

If anything... I imagine Boosh starts.

FreshPerspective 10-07-2010 11:14 PM

I would venture to say yes since Lavy tends to go with the hot hand but he could throw a curve like tonight to keep the other team off balance somewhat and massage Boosh's sensitivities....

Short Answer...who knows

Being honest we all thought Boosh would get the nod with the previous game so Lavy likes to throw the curve balls. Also, Lavy ussually likes to play the "hot" goalie. Not that Boosh is cold, but from last season he showed he wouldnt switch goalie until one played bad or loss (or both).

But yea, I have a gut feeling it may be Boosh, but also how Lavy thinks comes into play.

I thought that this was going to be a ******** trade proposal involving Martin St. Louis.

Lavy postgame interview on CSN, he said both goalies would get to play early this season. Reading between the lines, I think Boosh will start on Saturday.

Flyerfan4life 10-07-2010 11:45 PM

My money is on boosh

So lavi has some videotape to compare each goalies performance

I think the bigger question might be who will start in the nets at the season home opener ? Never forget that NHL Hockey is a big business, and jersey sales are big profit makers etc.....I can see a whole bunch of #35 jerseys at the ready for the home opener whether BOB starts against St Louis or not ?

If i were a betting man i would say Boosh against St louis, then Bob Mon night against Colorado for the home opener....Then the next 3 home games who knows how lavy plays it, surely he will have a better idea what he has in BOB and Boosh etc.Just never forget that its a Business, and at the moment BOB is good for business both on and off the ice.I know one thing, we got a good thing going on at the moment, hopefully the NEW don't wear off too soon, its a great story at the moment, and its a little more exciting than a typical new season, I am enjoying it.

I think they should give boosh a shot and just keep rotating the goalies. But I think bob earned another start as well.

dookie88 10-09-2010 05:58 AM

Hope Lavi goes with Bob.
Early points are huge, especially when you get them without your best player, and Bob will get us the best chance to get these points.

ilovetheflyers8 10-09-2010 07:31 AM

I'd like Bob to play again, but I agree that Boosh deserves to start.
