He looks wrecked in that picture.

Faidh ar Rud Eigin 10-11-2010 11:06 AM

It was his wifes fault. Its nothing serious anyway.

Thepainter 10-11-2010 11:06 AM

Good, one of the biggest pieces of cowardly garbage in the league.

I hope Bubba takes care of him.

PezRadar 10-11-2010 11:07 AM

lmao what a retard..

And thats coming from me.. a big Ribeiro supporter.

Hopefully he isn't back to his old ways.. but from the report it sounds like all of them were hammered and the ladies got into some scuffle.

Its a far cry from him being at a club getting drunk/stoned, he was at a resturant and evidently his wife is not a very nice drunk.

He can't embellish his way out of this one.

Arrested for public drunkenness at a Sushi bar? That's a new one.:handclap:

wilty00 10-11-2010 11:16 AM

LOL. Nothing better than seeing someone get busted by an off duty officer.

His wife sounds like a real charmer.

Dogbert* 10-11-2010 11:17 AM

Feh... I was expecting to see that he beat up a bus driver or barfed on a cop or something. This is nothing.

TheBigTicket 10-11-2010 11:18 AM

pft he's no ed belfour. no fight? no bar? i know ed is in carmen, manitoba mike but i'm sure he'd be willing to give u a few tips on making ur arrest worthwhile and newsworthy

chaosof99* 10-11-2010 11:19 AM

lol, I was just opening Google Reader and saw the CBC headline "Red Wings lock up coach Babcock" and here I thought "Dallas locks up Ribeiro" :sarcasm:

Jack Bourdain 10-11-2010 11:19 AM

You guys are acting like he's going to get jail time... Other athletes and celebrities have done far worse and never got much except a hefty fine.

Epsilon 10-11-2010 11:19 AM

First thing that went through my head was "purse snatching".

BrooklynCapsFan 10-11-2010 11:20 AM

He should buy a Klimpy's and burn it to the ground!

Marky9er 10-11-2010 11:20 AM

He "lunged" at an officer? Sounds like he took a dive, he will probaly sue for police brutality.

Beetlebum* 10-11-2010 11:21 AM

******** charge.

Frozen Failure 10-11-2010 11:22 AM

Penal code saaaaaays:

(a) A person commits an offense if the person appears in a public place while intoxicated to the degree that the person may endanger the person or another.

Another person in his party was arrested for assault.

(c) Except as provided by Subsection (e), an offense under this section is a Class C misdemeanor.

Under Texas Law, a Class C Misdemeanor offense is punishable by:

a) NO Confinement in jail;
b) A fine not to exceed $500.

In short, Crawford is gonna smoke him, but he's not in any sort of "serious" trouble.

Try reading it again.

Anyway, this sounds like a whole lot of nothing.

Stjonnypopo 10-11-2010 11:28 AM

Did he offer the cop a billion dollars to let him go?

Reality Check 10-11-2010 11:28 AM

This wouldn't happen if Modano was still there

ThaDevilGirl 10-11-2010 11:34 AM
