Madison Square Garden Write Up
From the Garden's site...
"In their 78th National Hockey League season, the storied tradition of the New York Rangers hockey club continues to flourish. Over the years, the Rangers have entertained fans with some of the most memorable moments in New York sporting history. One of the NHL's original six franchises, the Rangers entered the league during the 1926-27 season and quickly received top billing on Broadway. The Blueshirts captured their first Stanley Cup in only their second season (1927-28) and quickly became known as the "classiest team in hockey."
Four Stanley Cups, a home in Madison Square Garden and a lifetime of exciting memories provided by a legendary list of current and former Rangers have shaped the team's rich tradition. Lester Patrick, Frank Boucher, Andy Bathgate, Harry Howell, Gump Worsley, Emile Francis, Rod Gilbert, Vic Hadfield, Jean Ratelle, Ed Giacomin, Brad Park, Phil Esposito, Mark Messier, Wayne Gretzky, Brian Leetch, Mike Richter ... a short list of Blueshirt players past and present who epitomize the style and success that defines what it means to be a New York Ranger."
The second paragraph is fine but the first two sentences of the first would have to change. How would you rewrite it?
Flourish = Diminish
Although I like to thing we are heading in the right direction.
