JP Dumont

Whats the word on JP Dumont? He took a shot off the foot and left the game last game, is he injured and out for a while (broken foot) or is he good to go for today's game?

Cheers!

I hear he's got a "lower body injury" which could mean anything from concussion to a broken toe. He's day to day so I'm assuming he's out today.

It's the NHL, He could have gotten Grebeshkoved or has an infected hangnail.

Probert 10-24-2010 10:33 PM

Looks like he played today, couldn't have been that bad. :D

Good luck to Mr. and especially Mrs. Dumont tomorrow (Monday) as they are scheduled to become parents for the 4th time!!! It's another daughter...making it 4 for 4.

Good luck and best wishes!!!

While Erat had the primary assist on Wilson's goal, Dumont made a key play. Wilson did a great job keeping the puck on the boards and then threw a backward almost no-look pass to the front of the goal, trying for Dumont. Unfortunately it went right to the Tampa player in front of Dumont, but Dumont somehow managed to get it just enough to push it to Erat. Nice play by everyone there.

Dumont and Wilson are on the low end of ice time for the Pred forwards this season but lead the team in plus-minus, both guys at +5 after 8 games.

That'd be great marketing. I'd actually go to Wendy's tomorrow to get a Frosty if they ran that promotion...

That would buy some incredible fan loyalty IMO for a sponsor to step up like that...

And some REAL confusion on the part of the Tennessean reporters. "They want Crosby to have 4 baby girls?"

Congrats to the Dumont's. I'm sure their little stairsteps are adorable.

What's so great is, when I've seen him at events with his little ones there's no more PROUD DAD in the building. And, he still makes time to visit the kids at the hospital OFTEN. CONGRATS MR AND MRS DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMONT.
