# 35 Bobrovsky jersey sales

Just curious if Bobrovsky Jerseys are being seen more and more around town, at games etc. I know its still early season, and very early in his career, but Having grown up in the Philadelphia area i know how fast folks warm up to someone who is getting the job done.I have not seen any down here in Northwest Florida yet, although i do see a lot of Flyers Jerseys at games over in Pensacola where Tim Kerr owns a minor league team.

I know Giroux was among the top 20 NHL jerseys sold last year without even being sold in retail stores. It was seriously impressive.

The Flyers had the most players in the top 20 by the way.

And some people question whether or not we are the biggest NHL market in the US... :yo:

Bobrovsky is going to get some jersey sales for sure. I doubt they'll push Giroux numbers though. I will say that I haven't seen any just yet.

Bobrovksy has sold at least one jersey because I saw it last night, and a few tee shirts. I know Fan Gear is selling them, and have been selling them since the Ducks game at least.

Hollywood Couturier 10-31-2010 11:25 PM

I bought one at opening night against the Avs and the charge disappeared from my bank account so for the moment it was "free"

When I was at the Buffalo game, they had some Bob merch for sale.

I'd think with our track record on goalies, people would be more reluctant to spend their hard earned money on a goalie that could be finishing the year in the AHL soon.

*Bitter because in like 2000 I bought an authentic customized boucher jersey expecting long term security, naive younger me. At least he's back haha!*

You should wear it. Niittymaki was/is a pimp.

I just bought a few Bobrovksy Russian Jerseys, and in the new future will buy a Bobrovsky Flyers jersey, I also just bought the other day an Emery and Briere jersey...

I collect jerseys so it doesn't really matter to me if the guys only here one year. I mean for Christ sake I have a Luke Richardson jersey LOL!

I was in the "New and Expanded" Fan Gear store during the Buffalo game. They have Bobrovsky #35 jerseys for sale and saw two people wearing them that night.

no, that's all false

all top 20 spots are held by Pens players, where Crosby and Malkin are #1 and #2

Pittsburgh is by far the biggest NHL market in the league

Crosby and Malkin 1-6, Home/Away/Alternate.

i was only counting in total, but yes, you are correct...1-8 if you count their even uglier Winter Classic jersey

pretty sure i already saw the box score for that game too...9-8 with Crosby getting another shootout winner

Chris Shafer 11-01-2010 12:01 PM

9-10 for the pink jerseys?

Chainsaw 11-01-2010 03:13 PM

Where was the NHL market when they couldn't win a game. Bunch of band wagoners willing to let their team move. Pens suck, hopefully their arena blows up when Crosby is on a breakaway.

Yeesh, it's just a game. Besides, I'm the last person to come to the Pens' defense, but it's pretty obvious you don't really know what you're talking about when it comes to what was happening with that franchise in the early part of the decade. It's a little more complex than them sucking and their fans just not showing up.
