marty st.louis

what are your offers for this guy:

calgary: reinprecht, gauthier, mccamond
columbus: marchant, richardson
dallas: guerin
montreal: zednik, hainsey, hossa for st.louis, sarich
new york Isles: peca, cairns
toronto: marchment, fitzzy, antropov
vancouver: keane, chubarov, fedorov, rucinski

Darth Milbury 06-14-2004 06:45 PM

Shin Pad 06-14-2004 06:54 PM

Why exactly would TB want to trade this guy? :dunno:

devildan 06-14-2004 06:55 PM

just ... stop ... now ...

Nomis 06-14-2004 06:56 PM

:amazed: those proposals are crap

Go Flames Go* 06-14-2004 06:57 PM

Oh my what kind of offers are thoose, if this was 3 years ago you could of traded a 7th rd pick and gotten made fun of for getting St.Louis.

I heard he didnt accept his qualifying offer for 1.6 Million so he becomes a UFA is that true?

monster_bertuzzi 06-14-2004 07:07 PM

I like Vancouver's proposal the best..

andora 06-14-2004 07:08 PM

it's hard to pick a favorite, maybe the toronto one. the dallas one is pretty funny too

Darth Milbury 06-14-2004 07:10 PM

The Isles one is even worse because Cairns (who never had any trade value to begin with) is an impending UFA.

Russian_fanatic 06-14-2004 07:15 PM

calgary : Don't let him leave the organization as a free agent would be one for them! That or Iginla and TB gives a second round selection .
columbus : Rick Nash (TB gives a third rounder)
dallas : Guerin , and a first round selection in 2005
montreal : Koivu , Zednik and a 4th round selection in 2004
new york Isles : Hunter , Aucoin
toronto : Stajan , Marchment , 2nd in 2004
vancouver : Naslund TB gives a second round selection back

These are my proposals for each team . Keep in mine tha this would be what each team would want . (Naslund , Iginla are tops in the league so they deserve the other team deserves to get more back) .

Getting past the reality that St. Louis is not available. I still think a lot of those deals are one-sided. For example, in the case of the Isles, Aucoin is a very expensive player who will be an UFA next summer. Hunter probably has pretty high trade value but not THAT high. The Toronto, Montral, and Dallas proposals are also pretty unfair.

Much better but sure Naslund, Iginla, Nash are tops in the league but St.Louis just won MVP and Leading Scorer, he's probably more valuable to TB than Naslund, Iginla or Nash would be.

MontrealSF 06-14-2004 07:27 PM

Marchment ? What the hell would TB do with Marchment ??

Have him knee-on-knee St. Louis .......

andora 06-14-2004 07:32 PM

i don't think st.louis is worth nash

Hockeyfan02 06-14-2004 07:59 PM

Brutal, just brutal proposals. I try to be nice but there really isnt anything nice to say after those proposals. And hes not a UFA, Feaster has said hes top priority and since his qualifying offer is under 2 million, I think its safe to say hes not going anywhere.

Can you honestly say Calgary would be a better team with St.louis in the lineup and Iginla out? :shakehead Iginla in Tampa would probably mean a dynasty but St.Louis in Calgary would mean missing the playoffs again :p:

Oceanic39* 06-14-2004 08:56 PM

1. There's no way in hell he's available.
2. Q-offers don't go out until the last of June and whether or not he accepts it has no bearing on who holds his rights. TB has to offer a 10% raise to hold his rights. All they have to do is offer it.
3. He hasn't played 10 years in the league, so he doesn't fall under the Lapointe rule.

absolutly crap!

There is no reason why tampa would want to give up St.Louis. I see him staying put in Tampa for a long time

Tuggy 06-14-2004 10:50 PM

That Toronto one is easily the best :lol
