John Moore
 

How are things going with John Moore, haven't heard too much about him lately. Is he still looking like CBJ's top D prospect?

he looked really good in the pre-season, but he needs more time to mature defensively. going to be one of the best skaters in the NHL, but he gets beat a good amount right now. i'd say, in my opinion, holden is our top d prospect after how he has played to begin this season, but moore is a close 2nd.

Holden and Clitsome are our most NHL ready defensemen.

Moore seems to be our defenseman with the most up-side, although he could be supplanted by either Savard or Goloubef considering it's early in the season.

Glad to see Johnny is doing well. I grew up with him since we were kids. I can tell you first hand he's a great guy and a hell of a hockey player. It sucks that he's playing in the same division because I know he'll be lighting it up from the blue line for you guys sooner or later.

We need six stay at home defenseman, all playing at once to help the goalie.... Just kidding, I'm excited for John but for now he needs lots of time in the minors, being good in the NHL is harder than most think and experience in the AHL can only help.

I'm really glad the likes of Holden, Clitsome, Savard, and Goloubef are all playing well. It gives us some time with Johnny, and he needs that time because he has a lot to work on. I hope we wait as long as possible with him so that we know he's 100% ready.
